Starting each day in the heated outdoor pool and hot tub with Mountain View. the closeby free shuttle to the cute town of Created Butte with many restaurants and galleries of local artists. The walkability to the free outdoor concert and mountain village restaurants, sporting activities and ski lifts to hike above. The drive up Gothic Rd, which turned into a dirt road, to stop at the Biological Lab and then further up photograph beautiful wildflowers, mountain meadows, waterfalls, and be surrounded by peaks above tree line. I don’t usually spend this much on my Dx helped a lot) but now understand the price and am so glad I spoiled myself. It was first class in every way. The lodge, the staff, the location, the proximity to activities. The king suite worked beautifully for my friend and me. Plus she could bring her little dog for $30/ day extra. Highly recommend the Grand Lodge.

Place was great - room was a bit warm when we checked in but opening the window and placing the fan in the window helped to quickly cool the room.

We were disappointed to find out the hotel restaurant was closed for lunch and dinner. We had to go into Crested Butte - that turned out to be a real exercise because a number of the restaurants weren't open. Options were limited. Will do more checking next time.

Lovely corner room. I’m always willing to pay extra for luxury when the price is right. Clean room. Hallways beat up.

. A group of young adults next door were loud and obnoxious. I’d had call front desk but no phones in the room. Loud at night and morning. I tried to rest. No room service/snack vending.

Did not use the breakfast option. It appeared that there were few items to select from. We chose to check out and get on the road to find another breakfast alternative.

The pillows on the beds were too firm and too thick, resulting in a neck kink. Softer, flatter pillows would be great! Obviously a personal preference, but a less firm mattress would also result in a more comfortable night's sleep.

The view was beautiful and we loved that you could open the windows and that they provided a fan as well.

Fan in bathroom ran constantly. There was no ac unit and there were kids running up and down the halls late one of the nights we stayed.

Excellent location and super friendly staff, and the lobby is very cozy. Very reasonable nightly rate for a Junior Suite.

We were in Room #179 that was right by the back exit with loud-closing doors starting at 5am. We spent 5 nights and would have much preferred a little view other than a parking lot and dumpsters. Next time we will request an upgrade, as we spend more time in our room than most guests.

The location is exceptional.

The unit was fine. My only complaint is a condo in a ski destination should come stocked with throws, blankets or afghans to snuggle into after a frigid day on the slopes.

Excellent hotel, a very short walk to the free shuttles-15 minutes to CB for groceries etc. Very short walk to the base area lifts. Clean, quiet room with fully furnished kitchenette. Concierge ski storage. Indoor outdoor pool with hot tub and fitness center. Enjoyed my stay.

Due to the design, it takes a while for the hot water to get to the shower.

The room was spacious, had a kitchenette with large refrigerator, two TVs and great cross ventilation to cool off at night (no AC). We had all the comforts at being at home while we were vacationing away from home. Front desk personnel were extremely helpful and courteous.

There were only enough plates, glasses, silverware for four (4) settings -- would have been nice to have more, so we did not have to keep cleaning dishes for each day of our stay. There was no Spatula in the cooking utensils, only spoons (one slotted, and one solid) and a spaghetti server -- hard to flip over-easy eggs or remove sunny-side-up eggs with these and no spatula. Also there was no dishwasher detergent in the room.
