The hotel is updated, clean and the staff is friendly. Our room had a nice seating area, mini fridge (freezer didn’t freeze, may have not been turned down properly) and a decent selection of tv channels to watch while we wind down from the day. The bathroom was spacious, clean and well stocked with towels, soap and shampoo. The king sized bed was comfortable and felt new.

The blackout curtains didn’t close! It was only a sheer curtain covering the window which meant it was light later than we wanted, and much earlier than we wanted! Also the property charged $12 a day for parking! This is a hotel in the middle of nowhere, next to a dilapidated and closed down other hotel and 3 gas stations. There is no reason to charge for parking.

Great hotel for the price. Room was very clean but some furniture was a bit worn. Bed was comfortable. Location was just off of interstate. Would recommend and stay again. Loved that there was a full service Sinclair gas station in town when we had a nail in our tire. Nice Mexican Restaurant across the street.

Parking cost $12 a night but wasn't included in the price of the room. Breakfast cost $10.95 per person. We didn't eat so can't comment on if it is worth it. Nothing to do in Parachute but close enough to Paradise, Rifle, Grand Junction & Glenwood Springs.

Hotel was clean and festive for coming Fourth of July. Front desk folks for check in and check out friendly and helpful. I wasn't expecting there to be a pub for dining in the evening so that was a bonus. Lorrie- the lovely woman that runs the restaurant was very friendly and went the extra to make us feel at home! We didnt get to try the BBQ dinner but it sounds like it's amazing- the burger we had was incredible and complimentary Coffee/Cider/hot cocoa was just what we needed at the end of a long drive! Will stay again when i come back through!

The only thing maybe was that the cleaning solution they use has a strong perfume to it. The place was very clean, so that was great! just a little thick on the scent.

Evening staff was great. Room clean, spacious, comfortable. Motel felt safe and relatively well maintained.

Aerosolized scent was unpleasant. $12 additional charge for parking was unexpected, not included or mentioned in our booking.com reservation, and not typical of motels, leaving a disappointing impression. We didn't go for breakfast which looked uninviting and overpriced.

Room was spacious and had all I needed for a few nights stay. Parking was good. Staff was super friendly. Lots of large parking spaces. Always someone at the front desk.

Like most hotels the fragrance in the room was strong. I read when booking that there was a daily charge for parking that is tacked on to your bill. So even though I was aware of the charge ahead of time from reading the details and reviews on the booking site, it seems like it would be more honest to just put that charge into the daily rate since it is not optional.

The overall quality of the room and the entire hotel was very good, much better than other places I paid more for. And I was even able to purchase a glass of wine to enjoy in my room.

I was charged $10 to park my car, which was not advertised that this would be the case. I did not like that. That basically added $10 to my stay there which made the stay not quite the value that I thought it would be. This should be stated on websites when booking the a room with this establishment

The best run hotel around. The staff is very professional. They run a tight ship, which means that it is an excellent place to stay. It is my go to place for skiing grand mesa. I have been a repeat customer for a couple of years, staying there many times each year. Wonderful hotel to stay at.

Booking buried the $12 parking fee in the policies so that was an unpleasant surprise especially given that it was just a parking lot like the other five hotels we stayed at on this trip (free). Breakfast was overpriced so we went elsewhere. And who closes a pool over the July 4th holiday?

Additional charge for parking - I feel like this should just be included in the room price for a location like this.

First we wanted to start out by thanking and praising Sammie who was at the front desk. We accidentally left the lights on inside of our car overnight and she let us use her personal jumper cables to jump our car. The hotel was fairly clean and smelled nice. The beds were firm but not uncomfortable.

Grand Vista provided the normal amenities except for continental breakfast. They wanted to charge $12 per person. They also charged a $10 parking fee. The hotel was the most affordable in the area, but they seemed to nickel and dime you to death. That’s the only reason for the 4 stars. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.
