Wine Country Inn

property is often described as luxury at an affordable price and this probably sums it up pretty well. very comfortable spacious room with one of the most comfortable beds ( super king I think) that we have encountered in a hotel in a long time. Really nice public areas, pretty gardens and a super central pool area. Food and wine offerings were very good and reasonably priced for the quality. Complimentary glass of house wine was a nice touch. Staff all very friendly and professional. The hotel is right by the Interstate, very easy to access but it’s very clever design and layout means that yo7 never know how close the road is. Fantastic views and easy access to the town.

I know it is trying to be faithful to the “old country inn” look but perhaps the interior could go for a lighter style of decor without compromising on this worthy aim.

The room was large and comfortable, the hotel is spotless, the pool is cleaned every morning. The front desk staff are knowledge about the area and the goings on in town they had great recommendations. Breakfast is pretty good too.

The pillows are small and square. My room didn't have a safe. The black out curtains don't block the sun out. You have to sign a form that says you can NOT smoke Mary Jane anywhere on the property. Or be fined. So we would have to take a long walk. I didn't like the menu at Caroline's restaurant on property

The Wine Country Inn is beautiful hotel in a lovely location. We loved the pool area and the wine tasting, we even ventured on foot to two wineries next door to the hotel and had lovely afternoon sat under the trees with a wine flight. One night we ate in the bar and the next evening the restaurant. The food was lovely and the staff very friendly and gave great service. We were happy with our room which overlooked the pool and was very quiet and comfortable

The hotel was in a good location and was very clean. The room walls were a little thin but not bad. The rooms are very good size. The hotel was in a good location and was very clean. The breakfast were very good, with both hot and cold dishes, fresh fruit, and beverages. though they were very redundant in that they had the same exact food every day. The pastries were mediocre. Parking is very convenient. There is a nice trail along the irrigation canal for walking/running next to Vineyards and orchards. The mountain views are beautiful and surround the hotel by 180°. I did not use the restaurant there, but it has a good reputation. There is a decent convenience store within walking distance of the hotel. I did not notice any road noise even though the highway is a short distance away. All in all, it was a very good experience.

The exercise room was dark, had little air circulation and had limited equipment. There was a semi decent universal weight machine and good elliptical. There was a recumbent bike, which I did not find particular comfortable and needed to be lubricated. There is a nice TV in the room so you don't go stark raving crazy while you exercise. The breakfasts were good but redundant. The free winetasting is a nice addition, but it is at 5 o'clock and I was never there to enjoy it. They make a big deal about conserving water by not turning in your towels daily, yet the showers are not low flow and run more gallons per minute than the waterfalls at Yosemite. Bathroom fan was annoyingly loud so it was hard to leave on to dry out your towels.

Beautiful hotel. Great room with a view of the pool. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Fruit and Wine Byway wine tasting tour was fun. Loved Maison la Belle Vie Winery the most. Continental breakfast @ the hotel was the best we ever had. Could tell it was made by a chef, not a cook. Right off the interstate. Would highly recommend.

Pubs in town did not have good food or a great beer selection (it is wine country afterall)

We love happy hour time! Bridgett was amazing! Also loved the bar food and Juan! Pool was clean, staff were very kind!

There could have been better options for Saturdays breakfast. It was picked pretty clean. Also, hand sanitizer before you get plates would be a fabulous idea!

Overall we had a very nice experience. We interfaced with staff from all the functional areas and everyone was very friendly and nice. We enjoyed hanging out in the jaccuzzi and poolside after bike rides and hiking. And their free breakfasts were also very good and provided a great start to the day!

The property is set in a beautiful location in the valley. Travel to our locations within Palisades was quick and effortless from the hotel. It seemed like we were there during a slow time but it was perfect, we were looking for a quiet place to relax and take it easy. The staff was very polite and friendly. The couple's massage was amazing and conveniently located on the property. I would definitely recommend and we will be back.

The only thing I did not like was the fact we never ventured down to get in the hot tub, next time we will.

The bed was extra comfy and the water pressure in the shower was excellent. We enjoyed the free glass of wine in the evening as well as the breakfast in the morning. We also really enjoyed meeting the (what I assume is a) resident mouser cat outside when we were packing up to leave. :)

The place is in the middle of a vineyard at the start of town, off the motorway but with rooms facing a canal. The staff are efficient and friendly. The place has a definite historic Inn charm decorated with old pictures of palisade. The town is quaint with plenty of bakery/wine tasting/brewry/ eating options. The restaurant has a restricted menu but nice service, setting and food

The pool was beautiful but had a bit too many wasps and the hot tub was closed.
