SpringHill Suites St Petersburg Clearwater

The location is very good and clean. Theres lots of restaurants close by and very close to the airport, which was good because our flight left at 7 am.

The beds were very soft, and you sunk into them. We're used to a firm bed. The pillows were fluffy but went flat while using them. We were on the second level, and when using the shower, it had very little water pressure. The hotter you made the shower the less pressure you got. So had to decide between good pressure and not have a hot shower or have a hot shower with very very bad pressure.

The breakfast was great!

A strange guest standing in the cubbie entrance to someone's room as I exited off the elevator he nearly scared the daylight out of me. He then walked to the other end as I kept looking back to see where he was going, he disappeared. It would be a great addition to install camera's on each floor as added protection for your guest so that someone could keep an eye on suspicion characters like this.

Conveniently located for all the activities we had going on for the weekend. Staff was helpful and always answered with a smile. The price for our one night stay was great for the accommodations provided.

It wasn’t the cleanest motel I’ve stayed at but not the worst either. Elevator was slow and the stairs were not convenient for where our room was located. Sound from patrons above and next door could be randomly heard while in our room.

Joe that works the graveyard shift is definitely a people person and fantastic at what he does. Great conversationalist and extremely helpful. The ladies at the front desk are fantastic as well. Very classy Hotel.

Pompous bearded male desk clerk that had a personal problem with me for some odd reason. I tried talking civil to this guy on several occasions but nothing seemed to work and I avoided dealing with him unless nobody else was working.

great staff and good location. The included breakfast was good and staff did a great job of keeping it clean and stocked. Room was spacious.

The room overall was extremely clean, beds/bathroom was spot on and the maids should be condemned with how well they do. The room also was a good value for a weekend night. The staff was very professional. The hot tub was GREAT.

what ended up being a deal breaker for me was once back in the room I had the worse night because of the AC unit, it wasn’t getting cold no matter how many times I played around with it and it didn’t have any pressure, it caused me to be awake majority of the night and I was very uncomfortable. I would of possibly returned another time because the hotel is kept nice, but the experience I had not getting a good nights sleep due to the AC not functioning correctly i most likely try some place else, although I can’t talk for all rooms.. Those things should get regularly inspected especially being they are used frequently in a ‘hot’ state.

The pool and the cleanliness of the hotel.

I had children there and after I left the same day I accidentally left a few things behind. My daughter turned 2 and I had a small get together w two of my sisters and about 5 I called to see if my wallet was still there and when I called the front desk person kept telling me how dirty the room was. Me and my sister grabbed all the trash and put all the towels by the front door to make it easier but that is not my job to clean it up. I'm sure that is what the hotel was for to enjoy not clean. I honestly don't think we would be returning because of the attitude she gave me. Other than that there were other staff members w great customer service.

The breakfast was overall very good. Our only negative comment about breakfast was we wished there had been more variety from day to day. The breakfast options were always the same, pancakes or French toast options would have been nice as well. The location for us was perfect. We had never stayed in Clearwater before so to be so close to everything we wanted to do and also close to the airport was definitely a huge positive. The staff was always very kind and accommodating which was awesome, we will definitely choose this hotel for our next stay in Clearwater.

We never used the the pool because it wasn’t very sunny in that area, there was just too much shade most of the day and the water was actually too cool for our liking.

The room was the perfect size. checking in and out was very easy. The pool was a great temperature. The bathroom was clean and had nice supplies. Lines for the sofa bed were easy to find in the closet.

The only negative thing I found was the pool had some bugs in it, but that happens often so I wasn't even too upset about that. The AC in our room worked fine, but operating it was a little confusing.
