The location of the Hotel is very good as it is not far from the hustle and bustle of Clearwater. The hotel is also very well maintained and has a very pleasant climate with a swimming pool in front, a very pleasant common area and bright colors that make the environment very pleasant. The cost benefit in relation to other hotel options was also worthwhile and the rooms have a microwave and a minibar that helps a lot during the stay. The receptionist was also very attentive and helpful.

On the first day at night we noticed that the toilet was clogged and when we went to notify the person in charge of cleaning, she was not at all friendly and simply handed us a bucket with a plunger so that we could do the job and told her to return it at the same time. place when finished. Honestly I thought the approach could have been a little different... Room service was also not carried out at any time, we stayed for 3 nights and no one even entered our room. The bed is also quite noisy as the metal frame creaks with any small movement. During the night it is difficult to turn over or get up without waking your partner. And finally, I found the check out at 10am too early as it usually ends at 11am, but that's ok, overall our stay was good!

Recently refurbished, clean and smart, the main man Mike was friendly and helpful whenever he was needed. Rooms were a good size, both family room and double room. Wasnt expecting much but it definately surprised us in a good way. Courtyard area was fresh and clean with new table and chairs. Pool was always clean.

If i had to be picky,the only thing that we thought could have improved was the cleaning of the room floors, when walking around the rooms we ended up with dirty feet so had to wear flip flops inside,the only other feedback i would offer is that we didnt get any replacement towels for the 3 nights we stayed.

Second time in 4 months visiting the area and once again this Inn was a terrific place to stay. Clean, quiet and just relaxing.

Funny story...upon my arrival, which was extremely late at night but met with a very patient and friendly owner/operator who was quick to get me situated in my room. I mentioned that the last time I stayed the street was under construction, and how nice that ALL of that nonsense was completed, to which he shook his head in agreement. Well, unbeknownst to both of us the very next day the road construction restarted. Now they are doing the tree work and planting the medians and walkways. So much for the end of local road work...but that is not the hotels fault.

This place is great. I come to this hotel every winter for 1-2 months. The owner Mike is great. Super friendly, helpful, and always available. The cleanliness was great - everything was spotless. The rooms are also modern and newly renovated: - A nice desk and chair for a comfortable place to work on your laptop - A 50 inch Samsung smart TV - Fridge and microwave - Multiple lamps for good lighting The location is great as well. It's the best you will find for this price range. Anything right on the beach is very expensive. It's close to the downtown area (a lot of great restaurants) and the bridge that leads to Clearwater Beach.

Everything was amazing! Very clean, the shower was really nice and the bed was comfortable. Outside area was really cute and inviting! The pool was great and management was really nice. 10/10 I would definitely stay again!

Clean room with a comfortable bed and large shower in the bathroom. The location was very convenient for me as it was right between two family members. There was a cute area for lounging or eating outside and a clean small pool that I didn't get to use. I usually stay at specific hotels and don't try random places, but happily I tried this location and am glad I did. I will definitely use them again.

Not the motels fault but there was construction on the road in front of the location and it could be noisy during the day. I was not put off by the sounds because at night it was quiet and I slept well. I would be remiss to mention that this location has a fridge and microwave to use but no coffee machines. But there are several very close Dunkin and other coffee spots nearby.

This hotel greatly exceeded my expectations ,in fact I extended my stay an extra 3 nights. The hotel is excellent value for the price. I didn't know what to expect as the street in front of the hotel has construction going on. It looks like they are laying new pipes. The construction had no negative bearing on my stay and the entrance to the parking lot and the rooms are on the other side of the hotel. I spoke with Mike the owner, and the hotel has undergone a complete renovation from top to bottom 2 and a half years ago. As a result, the rooms and bathrooms have all been modernized and updated and look and feel very comfortable . Tv, cable and refrigerator are in each room, all working well. Shower , bathroom and wifi reception all very good. There is a new laundromat a stones throw from the hotel and an excellent Polish restaurant, Polish Grill(also highly recommended) a few blocks away. Downtown St.Petersburg ,St Pete's Pier and all the restaurants and culture are about a 30 minute drive from the hotel. Clearwater Beach, maybe 10 or 15 minutes away. I highly recommend the Tropical Inn and Suites!

Mike was very nice, his attitude was splendid and he really cared about his facilities and your comfort explained everything in great detail Asked him about some non tourists places and gave recommendations, it has a nice little seating area in center of the complex to enjoy, pool area is decent size with seating. I will be looking at this place when I come back again and hopefully able to stay another week at this establishment

If pool hrs were open alittle longer for adults so you can enjoy after a day of traveling and shopping, I believe if owners were to put a hottub in, it would be used alot specially after a day on the boardwalk it's nice to relax with some jets, yes you have to travel to many places but in exchange had peaceful nights to sleep

Everything was well kept and clean. Staff was very attentive. Area around motel was quiet. Great location close to Downtown and the Beaches.

I loved how clean the property was, the check-in was fast and easy. the best thing the no-smoking in the rooms, I hate going to other motels or hotels that don’t charge people for smoking in the rooms and this place was amazing about that. the rooms smelled nice, the inside of the rooms were the same as the pictures. The bathrooms were clean and it felt like I was at a really nice little hotel. I can’t speak for everyone but I will definitely be going back and my entire family loved it. I enjoy it very thank you Tropical Inn Suites!!!!
