Hampton Inn Daytona Speedway-Airport

A lady at the breakfast bar hollered at me when I opened the scrambled egg container to get eggs. She was standing with two plates, waiting for sausage to be put in the empty bin and was mad that I didn’t wait for her to be out of the way before I opened up the scrambled eggs, yet she wasn’t in my way at all. One of the employees came and apologized for her abruptness and rudeness.

Your breakfast area needs to be more accessible to multiple people due to the rudeness of a customer that thought I was too close getting scrambled eggs when she was sitting with two plates, waiting, waiting for her sausage to be put in an empty bin

I checked in after being awake 40 hours- soaked in saltwater. I was hired skipper of a sinking sailboat that the USCG rescued 32mi off Port Canaveral. I had a flight home from the Daytona airport so this location was perfect. Not only that, but I’m a sports car fan and enjoyed seeing and hearing the practice going on across the street. The staff was great. They provided water and a room facing the track as requested. The breakfast was perfect and that staff was friendly and helpful. It’s subjective, but the bed was way to soft, as were the pillows.

Softest mattress I’ve ever slept on. Pillows were too soft too.

The room was fine except…

The bed was way too hard!! Felt like I was sleeping on the floor. And no comfortable place to sit in the room than on the bed. There was an office chair at the desk. But that’s not the kind of chair I would like to relax in before going to bed.

Perfect place to rest near on my way to south Florida. Check-in service was wonderful. Receptionist allowed me to a top floor room which I am always pleased to get.

The a/c auto mode wasn't working properly and my sleep wasn't as comfortable as I'd have loved to

Great location and great accommodations for the USABMX Sunshine Nationals. The facilities were awesome. The staff was great. We will most likely stay here again for the even next year!

There wasn't a single issue with the hotel.

The breakfast was good. I love the waffle station. The staff kept the breakfast area clean and stocked. Great location

The air in the room didn't stay on. It would com on every so often. It got kind of hot and stuffy at night

The staff was very helpful with reservations because they switched over to a new system, which lost my reservations. That was fixed in no time.

The location was great . It's across from the mall,Daytona race ,and restaurants

The price was good, that is why we booked. We were visiting family for the holiday. The gentleman that was working the breakfast bar was the highlight of our stay. I wish I caught his name. He was from Jamaca and he was awesome!

It could use a little remodel, but I was grateful that the money wasn't spent on that, helping keep rates low.

the people is always nice it’s just that my apartment flooded I’m local and I payed over 800$ for a week stay just because of the holiday now prices dropped back down and I’m still here I feel robbed

I really didn't get a chance to eat breakfast. The location was good. It was easy to navigate to and from wherever I happened to go.

Everything was on point for this visit. Nothing seems in need of changing. I was satisfied.
