The location in the residential part of South Beach was great as all the good stuff about the area is not far (if you are in a position to walk a fair bit) but you're away from all the noise and crowds. Plus there are nearby services targeted at residents and not just tourists. As other reviewers have noted, the coffee shop 'Cafe Umbria', 2 blocks away, is a lovely way to start the day. The nearby Whole Foods is convenient. Flamingo Park is nice to walk through on the way to the beach area, and it felt safe to do so. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was quiet -- did not hear other guests. Overall, the room was great value compared to the pricing of other hotels. Plus the hallways and front desk smelled good:) Would stay there again.

While the room was spacious, there were unusual elements about the 'kitchen', which could be addressed. A toaster could easily be added instead of/or in addition to the toaster-oven, a kettle and regular drip coffee maker would be more appreciated rather than the Nespresso style coffee maker. Storage space for clothes would be useful in the bedroom. Two other small notes: the rooftop pool is smaller than it appears in photos and no onsite parking is available.

I can’t brag enough about this hotel as well as the staff —such an AMAZING experience!! It was our 25th wedding anniversary and My husband and I had never been to Miami so we booked a flight & Abae Hotel. From the moment of our arrival at the hotel Rob greeted us with a very professional and attentive service. He even upgraded our room to the Penthouse 😄 The room was more then what we could’ve ever imagined, very spacious and modern. Even had a washer and dryer in the room. The iPad on the wall was cool for playing music. The rooftop pool was gorgeous and every morning I sat up there with my cup of coffee. The other staff that contributed to our wonderful stay was “Willkie” he was amazing as well, assisted us with our dinner plans and even kindly came to unstop our sink. We didn’t want to leave but we definitely know where we will be staying next time. Also loved that Rob allowed us to leave our luggage at the hotel until our flight left.

Now what I didn’t like and was VERY upset about was a young lady staying at the hotel was able to retrieve a key to our room without our permission. That was VERY scary!! She told me that “Eddie” gave her a key to get to the rooftop after she told them she was staying with us. I have never heard of that happening at any big chain hotels. That is unacceptable!!

Nice quiet hotel apart. I made last minute booking as my plans was changed and was very pleased with my choice. All what I wanted was there - quiet small 1 bedroom, little kitchenette, bed was comfortable as I prefer firm mattress. Had good sleep. I am very picky re cleanliness but all was very clean and smell good. Cleaning service and towels change provided every day, good new white towels and complimentary 2 big bottles of water. Great location in quite residential area close to the Bay where can watch amazing sunset Everything is close by walking distance. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I do recommend this place.

Next to the sofa would be nice to have a small coffee table.

The location was central and about a 20 minute walk to the beach. The room was spacious and offered many amenities such as refrigerator, microwave and washer and dryer. The rooftop pool was also enjoyable.

The hotel doesn’t provide washcloths but that’s my only negative for the property.

I liked that the property was on a quiet street and the staff were very helpful. The hotel was nicely updated. The balcony was wonderful even with no view.

The smell of the lobby and hotel was overwhelming. It seems like it is a signature scent for the hotel but was too excessive and even got into the room (which had less of the smell) but our clothes absorbed the smell all the way back home. I did not like that we could not change our AC unit in the hotel room until we called the front desk to modify the temperature on our own.

The mini suite with good bathroom and kitchen facilities. Daily housekeeping. Rooftop pool. Could walk to Ocean Beach and Lincoln Road Mall but there were also good public transport links. Restaurants and grocery shop nearby. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Very secure.

It would have been good to have a kettle and teabags available in room (there was a Nedpresso and coffee) Small snags such as gapping on the laminate floor, small chips on the bathroom drawers and cupboard floors that caught on the floor. Nothing major but stopped the overall experience from being a 10.

Personally, I think this is a better place for a single traveler. A queen size bed is just less comfortable for two sleepers. The location is amazing and the staff IS very friendly. There are some parking spots that are FREE (if you find one) that are of great value. It’s like a micro apartment with additional amenities at a descendant price. The AC works VERY well and is super quiet. WiFi is reliable and pretty fast.

Ugh 😑 The place was NOT very clean upon check in. The floors were filthy (to say the least). The micro apartment really doesn’t lend itself for cooking or heating things up. Yes, there’s a microwave yet it was full of condensation so we never used it. The hot water (shower) is warm at best. There’s a milky colored glass wall between the bedroom and ‘living room’ that allows too much light to come in. Bring a sleep mask!

The perfect location i Miami, if you want a peaceful stay. Perfect for walking and enjoying the near by coffee shops and restaurants. Lincoln Road and Ocean Drive in only a 10 minute walk from here, and it's a lovely walk. The WholeFoods grocery store is just around the corner, so perfect for having a nice family dinner in the beautiful room. I also loved that the sofa pulled out into a lovely bed, which the kids slept very well on. They have spare sheets for this! I will be staying here again in May. Thank you!

Nothing at all! I usually stay at the Mondrian across the road, but feel this is a lot better for the family. A lot more relaxing and easy going.

I liked it was very confortable ! I had to work 3 days and I had everything I needed! It was very clean and very well equipped. It’s near everything: wallgreens CVS and Whole Foods .I also grabbed lunch from the coffee shop that is in the ground floor. I used the bikes everyday to go to the beach and Lincoln road! I totally recommend it!

Wifi is good but every time I’ve got into the room I had to wait like 10 minutes till the wifi was configured in my phone. The other thing was that it said I would have a speaker in the room but it wasn’t there.
