I like that they had smoking rooms except that they only had full beds in those rooms so I had to settle for a non smoking so I can have a king bed. But one could step right outside the room to smoke a quick one anytime even at night.

They should have disclosed that they are under construction, even their sign was not visible *(temporarily taken down) and caused me to get a little confused. But it was not the worse thing in the world or anything. I had to walk to another building for the ice machine.

We arrived at 930pm & were gone 12 hours later. We needed a place to sleep that was safe & clean. Our room at the Pink Flamingo was just that. The bed was very comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was fantastic. We could have stayed next door for $100 more, but why.

It's old & run down, needs updating. It was as we expected, but clean & comfortable. It's a 2 star hotel with a 3.7 rating. It's a basic place to sleep no frills. Fine for our needs.

Best priced accomodation that I have ever found in Florida. It's not a palace but still beats other motels and "cheap" hotels of that kind. The room is quite nice for the standard. Pleasantly surprised.

Not that much when you look at average standards and prices in Florida. It was really good

We have been staying here for years. It’s clean and a convenient location for us while working in the area.

The receptionist was rude and acted as if she didn’t have time to help. She acted annoyed and quite short.

The staff called to check on us since we were late in arriving which was very much appreciated. They were very friendly and kind when we arrived at midnight. The bed was very comfortable. The room was clean and simple with a refrigerator and microwave.

The room was very clean and seemed like it was recently updated, bed was very comfortable. The location was great for us, right next door to my sisters RV park.

The only things I didn’t like were apparently the pool is closed indefinitely and the coffee was very weak.

Front desk was very friendly. They in fact called us in the morning to make sure we were arriving on time.

everything was great. However I asked the front desk if they had reward programs so I will make that place my selection but was told that there are no reward plans. I usually visit Okeechobee with more couples so we take 4 and 5 rooms at ones. In fact my friends rented 3 rooms at the economy inn hotel and because there were no more rooms, I ended up going to Flamingo.

Room was clean. Beds super comfortable. Front desk staff Kelly, was excellent.

There were not enough towels in our room to start. But that was resolved quickly.

Found roaches in my room.. the green accent wall was odd. They hadn't cleaned the door jams, there were finger prints from previous guests touching the bathroom door.

Tile floors, reasonable price, respectful staff, location was good, two mins away from lake Okeechobee.
