Holiday Inn Sarasota-Airport

When I booked my reservation I went through booking. com. My reservation indicated that breakfast was included. Next day when walked to the restaurant, the lady said to me that breakfast was not included. I went to the Front Desk to get clarity on that, and the Manager confirmed that the price I payed for my room did not included breakfast. That small detail made my overall expirience a bit sour. The question here who's responsible for the bill I payed for breakfast at another location?

Cleanliness room and facilities. Swimming pool and surrounding areas of the pool and outdoor sitting.

Check-in was ok. The receptionist could have been more friendly and aware of the number of guests by the reservation. He offered 1 bottle of water and 1 delicious warm cookie at check-in but we were a couple. No coffee in the lobby area available after restaurant hours. Only 1 coffee available in room.

Breakfast ate off site. I think a continental breakfast would help.

Hallway very hot. More shade area outside. Pool hours till midnight.

The hotel is located on the opposite side of the airport, which is quite convenient in relation to the Ringling Museum. Breakfast is not included in the stay and, frankly, it is expensive for the level of breakfast offered. The restaurant is mediocre, except maybe if you just want to have a beer in the evening.

We had originally booked our entire stay at a nearby hotel...spent 1 night there and was MORE THAN DISSATISFIED with that property!!!! We booked this Holiday Inn online and checked in after our 1 night stay at the other hotel. We were SO HAPPY we made this choice!! Just wish that we would've chosen the Holiday Inn from the beginning of our trip.

We would have LOVED to have had a complimentary breakfast included in the room stay, but understand that not every hotel offers that. Which is why we requested the microwave for breakfast meals.

The room was comfortable, roomy.

Though the room was modern and comfortable, clean linens and nice, I did not like Long blonde hair on the bathroom floor.. Breakfast cost extra after $200 a night and frankly the room was over priced room, but I'm sure based on the Season. Booking System needs upgrading apparently since me and other guest was told our reservation checkout was a day earlier than was scheduled through booking.com. 3 people came to ask if we were leaving. NO...After showing the confirmation, their was still doubt of it's validity by the Manager. That's not cool. Situation was however corrected, but took to long...what a bad start to the last day of vacation.

I asked them to put the air on 70 and to have 2 extra towels and they met one of those. I could not have been happier with my stay here. The room was clean, really clean, and the bathroom was great. I would stay there again.

When I went to check in the young man behind the counter greeted me but did not look at me the whole time I was checking in. He asked for my info and never took his eyes off what was going on around him.

Breakfast was to pricey for cold buffet. And tip the guy when he didn't do anything! Really We stop and had supper the night before and everything was hot and the barmaid was excellent.

Room was excellent and extremely clean. Was told I’d have complimentary breakfast which never did. Bed was quite comfortable. The service was exceptional only issue was with check in representative. He gave me no information and when I asked him for information on tv said that all information was in room. I waited until morning shift and they were above and beyond helpful. The staff that worked in dining were excellent and so very pleased with there friendliness, respect and service.

Room was great. NO breakfast because we left before 6;30 AM to get to the airport and nothing was offered, not even coffee, before that time.

See above explanation on the breakfast. Also, fitness center was monopolized by one person. Not hotel's fault.
