Didn’t provide nothing but one towel and one rag

This was the best hotel experience I have had in quite a while. First, the front desk staff, especially Bass, were outstanding. They were polite, friendly and efficient. They even called us by name each time we walked through the lobby after checking in. The room was very clean and comfortable (although I would recommend replacing the Nespresso machine with a coffee pot.) However, The Canopy did offer complimentary coffee in the lobby. They provide bath sheet sized towels, and a choice of a firm or soft pillow. They also included a free standing magnifying makeup mirror. The hotel itself is located in a relatively safe part of Atlanta within walking distance of Atlantic Station, and also has valet parking which compared to other hotels in the same class is a reasonable fee ($30 daily). The restaurant which doubles at night as a full service bar offered a breakfast buffet, reasonably priced at $18, that was fresh cooked and included a high quality frittata and sausage flatbread. No prefabricated food, thank goodness. The wait staff were attentive and welcoming.

The valet parking while conveniently located was somewhat disorganized. Although they appeared to have adequate staff, the staff didn’t seem to have mastered their system which came off a little chaotic and random.

Chose Midtown location based on other reviews but found the area around the hotel very quiet and nothing to do/no places to eat which was disappointing (Feb 2022). Large well appointed room on Fl15 looking north. Good bathroom but another sliding door........bizarre! Reception staff helpful (make sure you get your breakfast vouchers on check-in if breakfast included in price) and held parcels awaiting my arrival. Restaurant Ok for dinner (once) and breakfast each day........ breakfast service/cooking could have been more polished though

Selected hotel based on availability of bike to cycle around but not available due to Covid - nothing on the website to announce this, which was very frustrating........grrr But then Covid seems to be blamed for everything.

This hotel was absolutely gorgeous. the amenities were out of this world and I had the best night sleep in the bed. The shower and toiletries were exceptional. They are pet friendly with affordable fees!

The valet parking situation was a mess, although the valet staff was very friendly and hardworking, we found damage on our car after we picked it up. we noticed that valet takes no responsibility for damages they cause when parking your car. Which would deter us from staying here again, especially since valet costed us $40/day. The front desk staff in the daytime was nice, but the night staff was extremely unfriendly and not very helpful. They were also out of luggage carts for our entire stay, which is made it nearly impossible to get our belongings, kids and dog to our room without a lot of stress & multiple trips.

pet friendly and I love the fact that they have double doors dividing entry area and sleeping area. This is great to isolate sound from outside the room

unfortunately they were short staff and took a while to get some bedsheet replaced because ours was dirty - my husband accidentally dropped coffee on it - the bedsheet was clean when we got there. We asked to replace it ourselves due to time and inconvenience. But it took around 2h to get the clean ones.

The staff was great, the room nice with a good size, bathroom and shower were great as well, the restaurant and bar were also great, good location and very easy check in and out.

The bed wasn't that great.... a bit too soft! Location is good, but not very walking friendly specially at night. The restaurant closes at 10pm, it would be better if was a bit further at 11pm.

I’d just say the room was exquisite from the modern design elements to the overall location. The king bed room is what we had and we were in love with the whole aesthetic especially the cleanliness. Shower was spectacular and the staff was so professional. They have great awareness to people coming in and out the property so you don’t have to question your safety with how crazy the world can be these days.

Everything was up to standard as far as the room and the staff. However I don’t like the pending fees that they hold on your card. When you check in they put a card on file and tell you it’s going to be a $50.00 holding fee which $30.00 will be given to the valet. However they then billed me another invoice at 3:00am for $53.00 which created a $103 hold which the main problem was the communication piece but the end result was they released the remaining amount like a day or two later.

We loved the rooms, coffee machine, the bathrooms, the bed, the super hot water in the shower-everything about this hotel I loved. Convenient to all the sights and places in Midtown, Piedmont Park, The Beltline as well Museum of High Art to name a few.

It did not have a refrigerator-it is just a cooler -not really a refrigerator. That is kind of weird.

room, location

No water bottles or Microwave in room, No cotton cloth slippers (path slippers). Also the Restaurant chef (or supervisor whatever his job title) was always confusing me regarding settings before joining the breakfast buffet or asking for menu!! I didn’t like his way to communicate but his stuff was okay.

the lobby area was clean and you can smell it all the time. They were on point with that. Food was great and the valet guys were awesome even though they got hot and was very annoyed at some points they never missed a beat.

The room was super dusty. Too the point we had to go to the store and clean up the dust ourselves. Im sorry but that was a mess. Love the room. Great vibe but someone did not thoroughly dust the room down.
