Motel 6 Atlanta, Ga - Midtown

Rooms were very nice and clean. Cleaning staff were very nice and polite always asking if we needed anything. Price was reasonable for Atlanta.

Exiting the Motel wasn't easy due to traffic but that's Atlanta traffic. When I booked, I designated the preference for non-smoking rooms. I was booked into smoking rooms and the man at the desk at first wanted $40 to change them to non-smoking ($80 total) but then would take $20 ($40 total) and it had to be cash. I reluctantly paid it...just a sneaky way to get underhanded cash.

I was nervous because this hotel room was half the price of everything else in the city on this Memorial Day weekend, and I was expecting it to be sketchy. I was pleasantly surprised first by the great hospitality from the front desk, both checking and and out. Both of them were kind as can be. When I got to the room I was happy to find it was large, clean, and smelled nice. The air conditioner worked (which is a HUGE plus in my book), the tv was nicer than the one I have at home, and the room felt nice and inviting.

The only thing I didn't enjoy was the extra small parking lot, took a little extra time navigating, but that's not something they can control being in a big city. if that's my biggest complaint, I think it's pretty impressive!

Staff went out of their way to help us asking if we needed anything. Really awesome maintenence worker here! Front desk was a bit hard to communicate with, but wasn't rude or anything. They were understanding of our situation and worked with us rather than against us.

Some of the outlets didn't work or perhaps they tripped while in use. I had to unclog a sink that had hair buildup presumably, but it was an easy fix. Didn't get much soap originally, but again, awesome worker staffing!

Clean, nice tub. Close to train station.

TV changer needed batteries. Didn't release security deposit.

I like the cleanliness of the room and the hor shower 👍

opening the lobby door I was met with a strong odor of Marijuana being smoked by employee who was the only one behind the counter. As a former Detective I was very offended! Even more offended when I observed the oncoming shift black male stand outside the door and smoke Marijuana with the off going employee directly in front of the establishment. I said to myself I hope the owner has a camera in his home and watching 🤔

The price increase since I was there 2 months ago I didn't like

Room was super clean and updated. Also appreciated the well- lit parking lot. Good value for the price.

Bed wasn't that comfortable and had some loud neighbors our first night of the stay. You can hear every little thing outside (sirens, helicopters, loud vehicles) but it is what it is.

The owner of the hotel was very nice and helped me out. I was having a little trouble figuring out how to turn the shower on and he set me straight on how to do as well giving me directions to the nearest gas station! I don’t usually like motels because the rooms are outside but I would stay here again!

Not the hotels fault but Ubers to and from the airport were more expensive than I anticipated lol

The lady at the front desk was super nice, fast check in, facilities were very clean and well cared for.

Nowhere on this site not in the emails we exchanged was there a mention of 100.00 deposit. I found that a little shady, but it was refunded and all was good..

I like the space and although it was a smoking room it was not run-down. In fact, it was a perfect size two queen bed stay! The beds were extremely comfortable and was quiet. The area where the sink was was spacious with a big mirrors

There wasn't anything I didn't like it was worth the price and location to the Daiquiri Bar!
