JW Marriott Atlanta Buckhead

This was our first stay in Atlanta I had originally rented an Airbnb. I thought I had done the proper research and read reviews on the place. We arrived on Wednesday as we were coming in we noticed it was a very sketchy area so we get to our Airbnb only to find it extremely confusing to find and almost 90 degrees after 2.5 hrs it finally began to cool. The next day we wake and both my husband and myself have be bitten by something and someone else’s dirty clothes were in the washer ok we were going to look past that because we paid $1800 of our hard earned money (my husband is a nurse and this was our vacation post covid) to enjoy time with our children ages 4, 12, and 16. This was the breaking point we get back after shopping to find food specifically for a little girl hanging on our front door and the owner isn’t the one who left it communication with him was very very poor I must offer so my thought was was someone watching my kids maybe so maybe not anyways as we were getting ready to lay down for the night we hear several rounds being fired from an automatic weapon and the neighbors were arguing so I gather my kids and put us all in the same room and didn’t rest the rest of the night that was it I came upon the JW Marriott we booked our king room with ease, it was amazingly beautiful and well kept along with easy check in and valet service. The staff was incredibly nice and our room was clean, spacious, safe and convenient to many of the things we wanted to do. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our visit in Atlanta fabulous. I was ready to leave prior to finding this place.

room comfort, accessibility to mall and Marta, staff ( especially Lamin your courtesy driver can’t say enough about him a gem as are the valet staff that went overboard to help me even to get an Uber) front desk super helpful even bartenders.

the bar hours not open in afternoon, restaurant ( but only related to such minimal menue ) at breakfast. I would have liked eggs Benedict Eg. would have liked to stay at concierge level but not known if there was one ANDi would like to suggest a concierge desk ( might relieve some pressure or nuisance questions and suggestions from travelers like myself

The room was a very nice size and the bathroom was modern. We had a very nice experience checking in. Also, Friday and Saturday evening there were snacks and iced tea in the lobby. That was a really nice touch. The valet team were all amazing and the hospitality staff very helpful.

The pillows were oddly shaped and not very comfortable. The toilet paper roll was so close to the toilet, it nearly pushed up against my leg when sitting on the toilet.

-Beautiful Hotel and Area/Lenox Mall is connected - Clean Rooms and Very comfortable Beds -Beautiful View of the City - Very Friendly Staff who answered all of our Questions - Relaxed Environment -Wide Selection at the Bar in the Hotel - Nice Fitness Area/Pool/Hot Tub

- Parking in their Deck cost 40$/Day which to me is very expensive. -Request a Room Without a connected door for more Privacy, we had rowdy neighbors who were just flat out screaming next door to us and we could hear everything. (We did Switch Rooms) -Room Service is good Quality food but is overrated due to the fact you have to pay 4$ delivery fee to the room as well as a 22% service Charge, just door dash from somewhere.

Our Room was Amazing... The accommodations were AWESOME... The View we ended up with was Beautiful.... All the Staff we encountered was great, from the doormen (Anson and I believe Paul was his name?)... To the reception (can't remember their names sorry 😔).. To the wait staff (Reagan and Sanusi)... The location was VERY convenient..... We will DEFINITELY be back....

The parking was very convenient and safe...I just wish it was as little cheaper... Or even discounted for multiple nights...

beautiful property, room was a great size, big tv with lots of options like Netflix, fabulous bathroom, excellent shower, excellent linens/towels

bed was not comfortable so I did not rest that well. I hate to rate this so poorly when most every other detail was tended to, but this was something that they need to know about, and would keep me from rebooking there. also the Peking was excessive $. even the self park was $40 a day. they need to hire more valet staff - for $50 (plus $10 tip) it was a 20 min wait.

So much to like, excellent greetings when you pull up under a covered area well lite with valet on site, friendly staff made you feel comfortable, spacious rooms that are extremely comfortable, hot tub and pool area clean with shower rooms towels well stocked which is unusual for a pool area, elegant bar area, clean hotel in every area, easy access to mall, and price well set for location and services offered.

To be 100% honest we travel a lot and I can not think of 1 dislike about this hotel

The hotel is beautiful and in a convenient location. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The room and amenities were comfortable and fantastic. The room was large and very up to date. It is pricey but worth the money. I was very pleased with our stay.

The parking fee was quite high and the charges in the shop were outrageous but if people are willing to pay, I understand them charging

The attendants were friendly, aware and made sure you you had everything you need during your stay.

There was only one thing I disliked, my whole stay, and that was the shareable microwave located on the third floor. The microwave and counter area were super dirty. That area should be monitored at all times.

nice bed. clean, comfortable bathroom i had booked a bath for us but got a room with a shower and a view but room with bath was arranged quickly but no view this time, we love the atlanta view rooms

price altogether, it is a once in 1 or two years thing for us to come to JW mariott after we visited our family and before we fly back to amsterdam, netherlands but price is now over the top for me Lennox mall was way too busy and filled with people who did not wear masks or keep distance and looked liked ghetto crowd, it was scary The Mall and california pizza kitchen used to be a big reason to come here , but not anymore :(
