Baymont by Wyndham Augusta West

The best deal you will find in Augusta. But it is a "construction" hotel. The majority of the guests are construction workers, but they are much much better than the typical motel guests at places in this area. It's quite, reasonably clean and the breakfast was very good. It's not a 5 star hotel, but I stayed at three hotels in town and you WILL NOT FIND A BETTER PLACE FOR THE MONEY IN THIS CRAP HOLE TOWN.

After my experience with two other places in Augusta, not really anything that was to bad. Could be a little cleaner in the rooms, but still far superior then the rest of the affordable places in town.

It was very nice and everything but they said we was smoking when we wasn't we just burned incense then when they called to say they took the deposit they went though the trash said they seen stuff why would they dig in trash i took out of room but it's whatever next time I will make sure it's a smoking room so I can burn whatever I want to

Location of the property and price

The first room that I went to the towels was dirty. And when I went to the second room everything was clean until I pulled back the sheets. There was blue stains all over the sheets and when I took those off it was blood on a mattress cover. I went downstairs to get more sheets and comforter got back upstairs and those also had stains all over them.

The staff was very polite. It was in a quiet location the bed was comfortable and the room was clean except around the bottom of the toilet. I think they can clean that a little better than what they are doing. I called front desk about it and they handle it in a very timely matter. But overall I love it and will stay again.

Free hot breakfast- yum! Convenient location to West Augusta, Martinez and Grovetown. Washer and dryer being near my room was quite useful, and much cheaper than laundromat! And staff accommodated my requests without question! Especially Marcus at front desk as well as the housekeeping staff. Towels, when requested. Broken coffee pot in room was replaced when asked. Running toilet was repaired on request.

Room was dirty. Dusty. Shower very grimy. Other guests were loud and obnoxious, especially from 1:30 am thru 4:30 am. But overall, I was pleased with my stay, and continue to be a repeat guest when I’m in Augusta! The positive elements of the property and hospitality far outweighed a little dust or grime. Moreover, it’s rarely that I stay in a hotel room with a pleasant smell. Thank you!

The staff went above and beyond. Very friendly, warm, and caring. We only stayed for one night, but they made it feel like home. The manager was especially helpful -- she made sure we got our incidentals deposit back and greeted me by name when she saw me the next day.

The room could have been a little cleaner, but it wasn't filthy. Just a few dusty spots and stains, but the linens were clean. The toilet, sink, and shower were spotless.

I love the location

I was trying to purchase a drink and all of the staff was standing behind the counter looking at me . I'm guessing the person that was supposed to be at the front desk asked the guy what I needed and he told her I had a sprite drink. I stood there and waited and waited and never got any assistance.

I like the price , location that is central to everything. The room was clean and accommodating..the breakfast selections was above and beyond what I expected given my stays in other high end and price associated hotels.

The smoking smell that can in my non smoking room through the bathroom venting.

Every thing met my expectations. Room was decent, bathroom was decent and breakfast was great. This is my 3rd time staying here and will continue to do so whenever I come to visit Augusta.

Only thing I disliked was one night when I came in it was after 10:00p.m., the parking lot was full so I had to park one the side and there was a couple of guys sitting by the side door entrance in chairs. I was alone,and uncomfortable about it and didn't want to walk near them by myself so I had to walk all the way around to the front to get in.

Check in was a breeze and the bed was was pretty comfy!

Its not close enough to good restaurants. Outside of fridge looks like it has not been wiped down or sanitized in a while. Tub did have dirt stains. At breakfast there was no hot food and the drink was a jug of hawaiian punch which is horrible bc why would I want to touch a drink everyone has to touched.
