Location fantastic. Pasture with horses was very scenic. Game room was great and appeared well-used by guests. Snack-room was great. Dining room excellent. Pool was great.

Facilities around the hotel could have been in better shape - mildewed areas, some rotton wood, etc, barn paddocks were dilapidated, draining water off the hotel roof banged loudly in the plastic porch roof and woke us up, a guest refrigetator failed while we were there. Outdoor furniture very old, some looked broken. Could have more walking trails for non- riders but to be fair this place appears to be mainly for horse riders.

The place is Amazing, peaceful and quiet. Staff was extremely nice, made us feel at home. Room was above expectations, super clean and beds, wow super comfy. We are already planning to go back, but for more day, one night is not enough. We enjoyed using the family room and watched a movie, very cozy. Property is superb and so clean. Woke up in the morning to see the horse from our balcony. Breakfast was 10/10, staff did an amazing job, delicious food, plenty to choose from

Somehow seperate light in bathroom with the fan, seperate switch next to it. Noisy in the morning. No major disappointment from this property. Highly recommend.

Madison is a cool little town—great place to stop on a long drive home. We were thrilled to find this place to stay. Our bed and linens were first-rate, and we had a balcony overlooking a pasture. The breakfast they served was ample and tasty, and we followed it with a trail ride. This was just the break we needed before getting back on the road.

It was perfect for us.

Peaceful, serene location. The place was as presented. The food was very good. Horseback riding was quite affordable.

Ran out of bicycles -- none available when we went to ride. Bathroom light could not be turned on without also turning on very loud exhaust fan.

As someone who has never stayed at this type of accommodation, I was very pleased at the welcoming environment and the freedom we had to explore the place without limitations. The ranch is huge and there are niches everywhere to sit and enjoy the view, engage in one of the many activities offered, or just have quiet time. The horses are beautiful and well-cared for. I am hypersensitive to the treatment of animals, and this just seemed like horse heaven to me. And we could interact with the horses as much as we liked. The room was clean and very nice, with plenty of space and a great view.

The food was a disappointment, however. There may be many reasons for this, and it wasn't horrible, but we chose to eat our lunch and supper elsewhere. This may be a temporary problem. And I will say that other folks seemed to enjoy the food, so.

Loved the grounds and waking up with horses grazing in the pasture.

Not really any issues, wish we didn't have the stairs with my 91 yr. Old mother, but I didn't mention it in my reservation, so that's on me.

Likes the uniqueness of the experience and the closeness to nature.

It's EXTREMELY rural, which is technically a positive attribute, but it created a bit of uncertainty.

Breakfast hash browns, eggs sausage were awesome. A little disappointed with the biscuits. To be named "Southern Cross" someone needs to show the staff how to make real southern flaky biscuits.

Everything but the breakfast biscuits was perfect.
