Third Street Inn

The Motel was very clean. The pool and spa area was very clean, pool and spa were crystal clear. There were comfortable tables to sit at in the pool area and fresh towells. The room was also very clean and spacious. The bedding was very comfortable including the pillows. The breakfast was very good, eggs, sausage etc. and the serving area kept very clean. The breakfast alone is a great savings and would have probably cost us $30 plus to get the same meal at a cheap restaurant.

The cost of staying in McCall is very high now. We have been going every year for the past 19years and it has really climbed. To be fair, we could not find any other place that was a better deal, but very expensive. Also, my wife has limited mobility and the stairs to the second floor are very steep. We wanted a first floor room, but even though it was 3pm and check in time, there were no rooms available yet on the first floor.

It was comfortable and in a good location! You could actually walk straight into downtown from the inn. Takes about 8-10 minutes, and it is a slight incline on the way back to the hotel. There was even a lovely little pizza place next door where I had dinner. The staff was nice and the room was comfortable. The bed was huge and I slept well!

The room did get a little cold, but that might've been my fault for not knowing how to adjust the thermostat. When you check in, they run a charge on your card to make sure it'll work for any damages. Most/all hotels do this, that's not the problem. The problem is the charge is $30. I got it refunded after I left, of course, but since it was over the weekend it took until Monday/Tuesday for the refund to go through. Most hotels only charge like $1 to make sure the card works.

Breakfast was ok ... the powdered/instant scrambled eggs are just that, meh. More than one choice of waffle batter (blueberry), maybe some hashbrown patties to? Beds were comfortable and the room noise was quiet. Pool hours could be later, like past 10pm in the summers since we were out and about till 9:30 had to scramble to get back to use the pool and hot tub. The night manager was nice and let us stay for about 10 minutes after closing, but it was still rushed.

Overall everything was great! I was with all my big family and the lady in front desk was so kind to offer us nearby rooms so the whole family would be together, close by each other, very appreciated! The room and bathroom was clean and seemed recently renovated. Overall was quite place which I liked a lot. Location was great, you could walk to go to the lake and also there were stories very nearby to purchase food or groceries.

It would have been nice to have a gathering space where guests could sit and talk especially for after diner time.

The breakfast looked wonderful appealing and delicious with multiple choices available. The facility was clean and staff professional and willing to do whatever was needed to make my stay comfortable. This was not my first stay at Third Street they are always wonderful and make my stay enjoyable. Will definitely return.

Nothing. I have choices when I come to McCall for lodging. I will always choose Third Street.

The staff are the biggest asset. Alice and Freddy were congenial on the phone and in person. Housekeeping prepared our room well. It was a pet friendly room but was as clean and comfortable as a non-pet room. Hot breakfast was well prepared and the buffet was clean and well stocked.

McCall is a resort town that had beautiful scenery and amenities. However, we don't know if it was the tourists or the locals or both, we found it to be populated with generally rude people. Thanks to Alice and Freddy for breaking the mold.

Close to Downtown, had breakfast 6-9 a.m., had pool and hot tub. Smaller bathroom has deep tub but that tub was slippery as you step down into it. I had to very careful not to slip and fall. Mentioned it to front counter and he said it was the first he ever heard of it. Regardless, be careful to check the tubs before stepping in on one foot.

Location, on the main street, breakfast was good, you can have waffles, biscuits and gravy , sausage,eggs,cold cereal or oatmeal. in the rooms has everything you need , you can enjoy netflex instead of other cable networks and not stuck watching hbo or showtime, there's more of a variety , pool and hot tub is always opened.

The pillows are too small , uncomfortable. The room seemed a little stuffy.

The receptionist was wonderful she was very accommodating when I found out that they didn’t have an elevator to get to the second floor and that our elderly mother was with us they accommodated by giving us a new room on the first floor and close to the outside door which we were able to park in the handicap parking. I so appreciated that!!!

Location was great, it was to where we needed to go to. Didn't do breakfast at the hotel, because we have family who live in McCall and they took care of feeding us. But we checked out the breakfast room and food. Everything looked good and it was clean.
