Hotel Ruby Sandpoint

It was quiet outside, the hotel was far enough from a state highway. It was clean, new, with a nice ex/interior. they have an inside swimming pool and 2 jacuzzis, a nice outside deck with 2 fires and a lot of chairs. The complementary breakfast was good as well as the hall with wooden tables (apples and oranges were always on the table) and a pool. Two nice pubs/restaurants were within 2 min walking distance.

However, in my room, it was always that "white" noise from an unknown source, like from a working air conditioner (which I turned off in my room). So I had to sleep with earplugs. The TV guide showed >300 programs but very few of them were available and I had to try each of them to figure out which was available - very annoying. Just give me the list of working channels!

The room was very comfortable and hot breakfast in the morning was nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The internet was very slow in the evenings. Our room was on the edge so there may have been coverage issue. But other guests I talked to including a FedEx staff who have stayed there for weeks also said the Internet was slow. The staff was responsive to the issue and we hope it will be fixed.

This room was clean and comfortable for a stopover on our way home. The breakfast was fine, the room was clean, beds were comfortable. We didn't use the indoor pool or outdoor fire pits, but they looked nice. The employees were nice.

It's right in the middle of all this industrial/commercial stuff, so not at all scenic.

it was a little noisy, both from in and outside. I live close to a highway and train tracks so don’t have issues sleeping the through the noise. people not used to it may want to bring ear plugs.

It was really great to stay at this location , the staff were all friendly , the pool & hot tub were clean , seating area outside the pool was very relaxing place to sit and visit with other guests , rooms were WOW , breakfast in the morning had a lot to pick from and restaurant was walking distance !!

They should specify on Booking.com that this hotel is not pet-friendly, it is only dog-friendly. Cats are not allowed. Room is pretty small and breakfast below average.

It was a good location. I like the firepit to relax outside on the patio. It was quiet and clean. There was an area to relax and play pool or chill by the fireplace. There was breakfast included

Well, the pool table was in the main area, so it was close or put away at 9.

one desk person was not very friendly and would not help us check in early even though other staff member had said it would be ok on the phone

Facilities at hotel were very nice. Pool, hot tub, ski/bike storage area (although I did not use it but nice to know if was available). Nice lounge area with fireplace, and also gas fire tables outside the pool area! Staff was very friendly and helpful as well.

Would have been nice to have a microwave in the room, but was happy that they at least had a mini-fridge :)

Kids were in the hot tubs and pool screaming until after 10. They were eating in the hot tub and dropping bits of food into it. One of the hot tubs was down for maintenance both nights.
