The breakfast was good and the bed was comfy. The staff was hospitable and the guests that passed through were equally friendly fitting the small town vibe this place has.

There wasn’t really anything bad about it. The hotels going through renovations but the construction team is quiet and accommodating.

Breakfast was scanty compared to BW in Alton, IL area. There, the “sack” breakfast had a piece of fruit (apple or orange), a granola bar, and a muffin pre-packaged. When we collected breakfast, they added a small yogurt and a microwave breakfast sandwich. Coffee and orange were available. However, as a diabetic, I must limit consumption of most OJ brands. The hotel staff then gave me a bottled water. The Chester hotel’s breakfast sack had a bottle of water, a “danish” style roll, and a granola bar equivalent. We went to the nearby McDonald’s for a breakfast sandwich.

While the breakfast offering could have been better, we do not find this a problem as the virus will calm one day—we hope—and things return to normal.

The room is nice, recently remodeled. Close to where we were visiting.

The stairwell door at the end of the building, just outside of our room SLAMS closed and people were going in and out all night long. No elevators, so you have to carry luggage upstairs.

Good. Should offer fresh fruit

No transportation into town. Front staff person verbalized to another customer that President Biden not our president. I was offended as I believe he is our president. Staff should keep political views private.

Clean room and bathroom

Beds need replacing and extra hold on my card morning after check in. Extra hold usually done at check in and it was mentioned so looks like they are overcharging me. Will see what happens

Glad to see that the full breakfast bar had returned. Shut down during the heighth of covid. Real eggs, real sausage as opposed to the food not found in nature served by most motel chains.

The place was easy to find and the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was excellent and quite roomy.

They need to get creative with breakfast a bag with a granola bar, a sweet roll, and a bottle of water doesn’t cut anymore. You can’t use COVID as an excuse because I have stayed at a number of places that either have food you can heat up in the microwave or they serve a hot breakfast you can take back to your room. You advertise breakfast as part of the price of the room.

Large room , convenient location, great hotel in a nice town

I'm not a big fan of those large below the window HVAC units . They tend to be noisy. Blow the drapes open But 90% of all hotels have them . Towels could be bit thicker . Shower curtain worn a bit

due to the virus breakfast was ok no hot meals. location was fine.

@ night the walls are thin we can hear people talking, and people walking over our head, but that was ok too.

The bed was very comfortable very soft slept like a baby

When we checked in the person working wasn’t that nice came off a little rude.
