We chose this hotel because of its location along the Rock River. We requested and were lucky enough to have a river view, complete with a balcony; and it was warm enough to sit outside and enjoy it. (Did I mention the balcony was screened to keep the bugs out!) It was short, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We prefer bathroom facilities with the sink/vanity and toilet/shower separate. Not only were they together, the bathroom was cramped.

This hotel was nice and brand new it seemed i was in town for a wedding! I got a double queen bed room which came with a balcony on the river which I wasn't expecting nor did I pay extra for,which was a nice feature. The free breakfast buffet was nice lots of good options they even had almond milk! Overall great for an overnight stay!

My bed was slightly uncomfortable

Location was convenient to Sterling. The walk to the dam was fun. The bars/restaurant were convenient for walking. On Monday we enjoyed the free drinks and snacks from 5:00 - 7:00 and talked to another guest.

The buffet had rubbery egg omelets. When I got there on Monday after 9:00 most of the warm food was gone. They only provided scrambled eggs on Monday. The dead bugs on the tables outside need cleaned off more often.

Such a great location. Was the newest property in the area and that is why we stayed there. From check-in to check-out the staff was so friendly and helpful. They explained the property to me and got me some plates and utensils when the delivery had forgotten.

Nothing during my stay was not up to par!

Breakfast was great! The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable.

The elevator was very slow and the doors were narrow. It was difficult to get luggage through the doors and the elevator was small.

The staff was exceptional and antipated our every need and more. Facility was clean and had extra little amenities that were appreciated.

I was not able to get rooms together after previosly asking several times. Pool not always clean.

The rooms were spacious and the river was the best. Too bad it was during February and we couldn't enjoy the balcony looking over the Rock River.

The receptionist named Shelley was extremely nice and helpful. She is a true asset to the company and should be recognized for her hard work, dedication, and professionalism.

I think the cost is too high.

The continental breakfast was easily one of the best ever. The food choices were great, the food itself excellent and food temperatures were perfect.

Premium channel selection. There was only one HBO channel for the price. I thought there could have been at least 3 - 4 movie channels to select from.

I have lived in Florida for the past 30 years and l was happy to see all nice changes that has taken place.

I would like to see my old place of employment of 32 years across the river (Lawrence Brothers lnc.) Looking better.
