Just grabbed coffee on the way checking out. It was amazingly good! I thought Oh, I'll grab this until I can stop at Starbucks....BUT The coffee was REALLY GOOD!!!! The gentleman at the front desk that checked us in was very friendly and professional. He referred us to a great nearby restaurant. Great food! We felt safe staying there.

The Room was super nice and very clean... great area!! The breakfast was good...

The Last day the battery die in our door that made our key card work, well battery die and had to get maintenance to get us our room... staff apologize and we understood cause thing like that happen...

We were traveling all day, first attempt to stop was a no-go due to lack of availability at all three hotels we checked. The Vandalia HIE&S had a room and then was gracious enough to upgrade us to accommodate for separate sleeping arrangements for a sick child. Then, we all slept great. Very friendly staff.

Clean bedding, no stains, COMFY PILLOWS!! YUM... Easy to control AC, clean pool, convenient access to services (pizza, fas station, Wal-Mart), yummy breakfast.

There was no fan in the bathroom, so the bathroom got really foggy when I showered. The tub also filled with water as I showered- SO GROSS! Get those drain pipes cleaned out! Yuck... There was a fan vent in the bathroom, but it was covered in dust - perhaps inoperable (like the drains) because it was clogged?? And lastly, the shower head was low for me (I'm 5'9") & water pressure was Weak.

not your fault -but NO POOL _HOT TUB> i know because of virus.. we searched several site .most had line/type saying pool,water closed . your didn't an thats why i reserved.. when thought i had a mistake, i called to assure reservation. i asked was told closed. i gave serious thought to using cancel feature.we just needed to get away for time..WHEN pool,etc i would give strong thought of returning.. nice drive to you...thank you..

The elevator. Its jerky when it moves. Loud sounds when it stops. Was worried about falling. Needs to be checked.

Everything about this property was clean and comfortable. The exercise room was complete with weights and cardio equipment and everything was in working order. The pool was also great! The rooms themselves however were the real pleasure of this property.

If I absolutely had to pick something not to like about this hotel, and I would be nitpicking, it would be that the wifi signal wasn’t the strongest.

Room was big enough and clean staff was great and breakfast was good!

Pool heater was not speaking so no swimming and the market was not socked well.

We walked in and were greeted by a sweet girl at the front. When she went to check us in our room wasn’t ready so instead of leaving us to fend for ourselves with two toddlers after a long drive she ended up upgrading us to a suite! The room was so spacious and clean! The free breakfast buffet was delicious and the pool was clean and so much fun. The nicest Holiday Inn Express we’ve stayed at!

Room was clean but needed a pen and paper. There was non in the room. Also needed a regular coffee cup for the micro. Non available.

Add pen & paper and breakfast could have been later. Some people are weary travelers and need to sleep in.
