Kansan Motel

If absolutely reliable wifi isn't critical, definitely consider this motel. Room is small but otherwise had everything that I needed: comfortable bed and pillows, good heat for a cold night, microwave and small fridge, abundant hot water with good pressure. Right off a busy highway but when heater/ac is turned on, device serves as a sound machine and I didn't hear highway traffic. Bed linens were comparable to those I've had in higher-priced hotels. I slept very well. Very clean, no bugs, and the price was super! Deducted one star for the intermittent wifi.

Left early before breakfast, if there was one. I liked the quietness of the room, provision of a refrigerator and microwave, and the refrigerator was set at the correct temperature to keep things cold without freezing them (often a problem in other motels), and perfectly adequate (if dated) furniture, including a comfortable bed, shower and convenience of parking right outside my room.

Had to sign in to internet repeatedly.

clean inside the room and outside parking lot. well lighted and cozy feeling. well kept property. rooms small but tidy and clean. a steal at the price but shows where modern hotels are missing the mark. there is a big opportunity at this price point and size of room. LOVED. this room.

The location was perfect as I was already traveling on Rt 54. The motel was happily reminiscent of all those wonderful 'roadside' motels we frequented as a family when I was a child, traversing the country. I couldn't have been happier with the place.

Nothing I didn't like.

The Kansan Motel reminds me of a classic Route 66 type of place. The room was cozy with kind of classic furnishings. The lady at the front desk was very polite and helpful.

Please note that the wifi often disconnects.

The place was great, very convenient, nice staff, clean.

They charged me more than I booked for at booking.com. But it seems this was not the motel's fault, it was booking.com's fault, and I already asked them to reimburse the difference, they said they will check my request within 48 hours.

It was clean, no distinct smell compared to big and famous motels. Small room just enough for couple travelers like us, cute little room. Stayed for one night. Good value for your money. Comfortable and safe. Thank you.

Sam the owner was very pleasant, I picked this motel because I wanted to experience a true Route 66 type experience. I was very happy with my stay.

Nothing bad to say about my motel experience.

You can park your vehicle right outside your room, making loading and unloading very easy. Check-in was quick and easy.

The motel did not offer coffee or any breakfast.

The room was clean and the bathroom was newly remodeled. It had everything you need, tv, fridge, microwave, table and chairs, desk, etc. For the price it was perfect. We were towing a trailer and there was plenty of room to park. Right on the main road close to fuel and food. We would recommend it and would stay there again.

Only noticed some dust in spots but my house has that too.
