Best Western Lafayette Inn

Just an overnight stay while travelling. AC was really good. We were pulling a trailer and had some parking for those longer vehicles which was nice to see. Came in really late but front desk staff was really friendly. Pet friendly which was a huge plus on this trip traveling with cats.

When we arrived, they didn't have any more room keys so once we got in, someone would have to stay in the room until we fully left. There was a large wet spot (puddle) in front of the AC which was a shock when i stepped in it. The first room that we got didn't have the bed made, so they had to move us to a different room, but was quick to change it.

The staff were extremely friendly. All of them. Room clean. Beds comfortable. Quiet even on the weekend. Loved to have both the refrigerator and microwave.

I could tell the hotel had been mostly remodeled and well done. But I was so surprised to find a large patch of mold and crumpling sheetrock in the bathroom of 203. Otherwise the room was perfect. It is very unsightly and I would think most guests would find it disgusting.

I liked the Manager she was very professional and helpful. Also the staff was very courteous and kind. Also loved the room size. I love being around people who are kind i would go back.

Walking into the hotel lobby smelling weed at night I know it's beyond control but it really smelled bad. Also if there can be better irons in the room. Air condition makes loud noise also if your comforter could be a bit thicker it felt like I was sleeping with sheets.

the front desk staff and breakfast staff went above and beyond . everything was clean , they even gave me a sewing kit .housekeeping was great rooms nice and clean, bonus was a laundry and swim pool. very close to lafayette for the festival..( only 3 miles).also close to crwfish festival the next weekend.

The Hotel location was very convenient access to the Interstate, very clean, staff was very courtesy and the price was very good for the room we got.

We ate breakfast there just one morning. The breakfast could be better. The hot water dispenser did not work for the oatmeal and the waffle grill did not operate properly.

The breakfast was ok. The location is good but a little tricky if you was to get to the other side of the highway. There is a very good 24hr food spot across the street called Bugaloos ( recommended by the staff).

The room is pretty dated but I was told they were going to undergo renovations soon.

On the answer in May 2022, to the question about the pet fee via booking.com, the hotel replied that the pet fee was $20/night. In September 4, 2022, they charged me $30/night! When I requested the front desk the date the fee was increased, she was unable to confirm! not acceptable business practice! very disappointed and feel taken!

The room was clean and the staff was very nice, the room was really cold and thermostat would only work if you turned it off!

The area could have been better, it seemed to be not on the best part of town!!

The toner was out in the business center so couldn’t do my work. Staff was helpful & allowed me to use one of their computers to complete my work. Eggs dried out & hard.

Breakfast was good and tasty, with a variety of fruits. Staff was very attentive to the needs of the patrons. I was also able to check-in early and didn't have to take my luggage into the city.
