Overall I loved the location, the hosts, the open room. my only complaint would be the lighting. The main room, although it had numerous fixtures, was gloomy, and the bathroom / shower was the same. Once you pulled the shower curtain you were pretty much in the shadows, and shaving was not real precise with the available lighting. Other than the lighting issues I was pleasantly surprised with my very open room. I will come back for future visits even with the lighting.

The room.was HUGE and classically decorated in a minimalistic style. Beautiful laminate flooring. The building has an interesting history, laid out in a folder in the room. Nice lounging seats, unfortunately not positioned optimally for viewing the TV. Simple breakfast fare was brought to our room when we arrived, so there was no interaction possibilities with other guests. The owner and his wife were very friendly.

Because there was no interaction with other guests, it seemed a little unusual to us. Although very private, we felt a little "isolated" in our room. The bed was comfortable, but squeaked whenever either of us moved during the night.

The room was very large, and so clean and comfortable! The bed was great, the couch area was comfortable, the kitchen area had what we needed (besides decaf coffee). The owners were so friendly and helpful, as well.

The room is quite large and comfortable, but it is arranged in a slightly odd way. It was difficult/impossible to see the TV from the couch area, and yet the TV was also quite far from the bed. It would be really great if the TV was mounted on a swing arm so that it could be pulled away from the wall and turned toward the couch. It would also be great if there were cleaning supplies in the room to use to wash dishes (or instructions on what to do with dirty dishes from the kitchen area). Finally, there was no breakfast, as far as we could tell. This was a bit confusing because the online information I found before our stay included continental breakfast.

Place was very quiet and comfortable, albeit it was off-season when we stayed. The room was very large and nice and well equipped. The bed was particularly comfortable. The staff (owners) were very pleasant and accomodating.

Wanted to check in with the staff to ask a few questions about the area, but they apparently slept late the morning we checked out, so we did not get a chance. Also, very limited facilities to throw away trash. Just one very small trash can for a very large room.

Friendly host, very spacious room with large bathroom, wood floors and a microwave and fridge. Dishes, cutlery and glasses for two were provided.

My booking was supposed to include breakfast. I read that others had had this added on to the cost of their room automatically and that it was brought to their room the night before. This was not mentioned to me so I did not receive breakfast. There was a dead spider hanging in the corner below the microwave where the dishes were kept. There were also cobwebs in the corner of the bathroom. The bed was extremely squeaky but I still had a good sleep.

The owners are super-friendly and so easy to work with. The rooms are huge and very comfortable, with a nice area for storing food or making microwave items. The TV was a little hard to manage at first, but the owner came right away to help us get it working.

There is nothing we didn't like. The tv could have been easier to operate, but the owner helped us figure it out right away, so that was not an issue, really.

The breakfast was a simple continental fare, fruit, muffin, and cereal. It was very good. The bed, pillows, and mattress were comfortable! The room was clean and had everything we needed. The staff was friendly and the shower was hot! We enjoyed our time at the Boardwalk Inn.

There were a few wasp outside of our door. They flew away quickly when we walked up. My husband killed a few of them. There wasn't anything else about this property that we didn't enjoy.

The owners were very welcoming right from the start, we arrived 3 hours early and were able to accommodate us for early check in. Once we saw our room we knew we would be very happy. It was much larger than we were expecting and the bed was VERY comfy. We will absolutely be staying here again!

The facility was outside of "downtown" Rumford in a quiet area. We were pleasantly surprised at how large and nice our two rooms were. --very spacious, with hardwood floors, and had a very new and clean feel. It was, by far, the nicest hotel we stayed at on our trip. Very happy that we found it when I was searching on line, planning our trip. --Highly recommend it for others.

The location was perfect for us - and the hosts were just great! Friendly and helpful. Everyone of my family loved the place and we'll be back! We had gathered for a family funeral - and the atmosphere at the Inn was warm, welcoming and comfortable. LOVED it!
