Great hosts, good food, comfortable beds -- you couldn't ask for more! Learned a "the secret code" for legal parking in Harpers' Ferry -- buy an annual pass to National Park Service properties, and by displaying it on your dashboard, you are permitted to park in the lot by the Railway Station! Go early before all the slots fill up!

Can't change geography = the walk up that hill is something else! It will help justify that fancy dessert you had after dinner ... but is a problem that is totally out of the control of the proprietors ...

The house was clean and neat, the bed was comfortable. most important my wife sleep well and not something she ussaully does in a strange place. She said we can stay there again. I have read reviews where people say the owner is rude. I do not think that she is rude, I think it is just a cultural difference.

I was there because I was riding the C&O canal to DC the next day. I had put in the special requirement when I booked that I would be keeping my bike in the room. When I arrived, I was told that the bike would need to be kept in the back yard. It was still there the next morning, but I didn't like it. plus you do not know if the request to put the bike in the room was passed on to the owner.

Eta is a kind host. The home was quiet/peaceful. I love the vintage feel of the town and sitting on the porch. I was happy to find a delicious vegan lunch (KFK) right across the street next to Snallygaster’s who had the best Kumbucha!

Breakfast was lovely; we could be served on the porch overlooking the street. Our host was very helpful. Parking was available. The place was very quiet.

Very nicely decorated, very clean and quiet. the host was very nice. We had a delicious breakfast. The location is very good for walking to many shops and restaurants.

It's not a huge deal but alot of the TV stations did not work and it took a long time for the water in the bathroom sink to warm up. I am still highly recommending this place!

I had a great time at Cantuta! I was happy to have my own room and bathroom with a tub. The bed was quite comfortable. Ethel, the owner was so friendly and helpful, she was always asking how everything was and if she could do something more. We always had great conversations. Breakfast was very good with eggs, ham, cheese, toast, jam, fruit, and tea/coffee. I would most definitely stay here again!!
