Good location, cute and cozy. Everything was clean and neat and front desk friendly enough. (I stayed there twice - one was friendlier than the other, but both fine.)

Its such a cute place at such a nice location, it felt as if there should just be a tad more service. The AC was difficult to use, and the fridge was old and noisy. At 2am i unplugged it. But generally i was cozy and, somewhat noisy neighbors not withstanding, comfortable. I will stay there again.

We had the end room might’ve been a little bigger than the rest and had a nice sitting area a big tv. We had a few chairs outside my husband, sat out there and smoked a cigar. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

outside looked a little scary, but the inside was okay. there was no cute planters like in the pictures.

Great small town location, easy access to the biking trails, great price for the space and comfort. Great breakfast options nearby. The AC unit did well to cool the room with a little time

There was a damp "Grandma's basement" vibe in the room BUT it is summer in VA. It was actually nostalgic but likely a couple cracked windows could alleviate some of this environmental effect. The new AC unit did cool the room to 68F with no issue.

The check in was very quick and easy. The location was conveniently along the route. The room was old fashioned, but that was kind of charming. There was a bath tub with a shower, shampoo, a hair dryer.

The smell was a bit musty. But the AC blew in cold air and that greatly helped.

The son of the owner of the motel, who is in college, helped me out and he was super nice and composed even as late as we got there and I stayed at the front desk and had a half hour conversation about my trip and his family and their motel. Then when i saw him in town, at a gas station, he went out of his way to say hello to me and asked how my stay was!!! The room were kind of retro/antique style but modern when it came to comfort it was nastalgic because my girlfriend and I love oldfashioned stuff!!! Very quiet as well we are going back next year for sure

The room was very nice. I was running late to the reservation so I called the front desk and they reassured me everything is ok and that my room will still be available. It has a hair dryer mounted on the wall for my fiancé and she loves that. The wood panel walls make it feel like a wood cabin…VERY COOL!

We did not take advantage of the breakfast, as we were not sure if it was available, plus we had plans to stop later in our trip home for breakfast.

Although the motel lacks some amenities it was quiet and comfortable. The beds were immaculate and very comfortable. it was reasonably priced too.

The charm of the rooms, pine walls, clean carpet, black out curtains, quiet locations, clean bathrooms and staff were very friendly made this trip a success. Parked right outside the room very nice. This is why I love Motels over Hotels.

Overall a nice stay. Only one issues we found were the mattresses. If your traveling alone or have two queens size beds in your room for 2 people you should be fine. We had a room with 2 queens and did end up using both beds because we found sleeping double on a queen size mattress we just could not get uncomfortable.

Having a pen and paper tablet in the room would have been nice. I needed to write down some directions, but didn’t have pen or paper.
