When we arrived we received a very nice welcome by Pat (gosh, I hope that was her name!) She loves dogs, and she came from behind the front desk to give our basset hound Wyatt a big welcome. That was so nice. The hotel is very clean. The clean room was on the larger side. We had a nice breakfast the next morning. This is a great option when travelling in south central Minnesota.

We informed the hotel in advance that we were travelling with a Basset Hound so a ground floor room would have been appreciated. The stairs were carpeted which made it easier for the dog to climb them, so we were able to make due. I felt a little uncomfortable when walking Wyatt outside and we happened by a group of other guests were smoking marijuana, not that there is anything wrong with that! Ha!

the room had a radiator with thermostat for heating. it worked much better than these noisy AC that most other hotels in Fairmont have. We were a bit reluctant, has super8 was cheaper than other hotels. but it turned out to be the best for us. no pool and the breakfast choice is definitely limited. but we slept best there! the best value in Fairmont to us!

From previous stays at Super 8 in other states, we knew the brand to be clean, and the location was easy to access the main roads. I was there for surgery this morning. The desk clerk both yesterday and today were friendly and positive, and pure joys to deal with.

It would have been nice to have a nightlight in the room somewhere.

Clean, comfortable room. Easy access off interstate. Friendly staff.

I reported a fan or motor running loudly all night, that was annoying(couldn't sleep). Sounded like it was below the bathroom(I was on 2nd floor). Two desk clerks, at different times, didn't come up to hear it, & said there was no one to report it to until a.m. I asked if there was an emergency number to call, & was told no.

The receptionist checking us in and the housekeeper I met upon checkout were wonderful!

The breakfast area is far too small. But the 24 hour coffee and cocoa were very much appreciated.

Nothing more to add except I was very satisfied with our stay at Super 8, fairmont.

It was a very comfortable stay. Staff was welcoming and everything was clean and a good price.

Good price for the amenities, you get what you pay for.

Limited breakfast options at the moment (which is understandable), comforter sheets could have been a little thicker.

The staff was ready for us when we arrived. The room was a little small, but clean and comfortable.

I wish you had a pool, but I knew you didn't when we booked, and it's not a big deal.

Breakfast at Super 8 in St James offered more options, had more seating area, and had orange juice,waffles, etc.

Location was perfect, right off the Interstate, well kept property, clean, large room and breakfast is fresh, coffee was hot and with a nice variety of choices
