Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Kansas City at Village West, KS

Staff was so friendly & helpful! Super easy check in and out process. Breakfast was really good! Lots of options and kid friendly (and clean/fully stocked). Our bed was comfy & for the most part it was decently quiet to have as many kids staying as this place seemed to have. Location was right next to shopping & some restaurants and right off interstate- convenient!

I don’t want to say it wasn’t clean, because I do believe they clean appropriately!! I didn’t see or find anything that just really grossed me out. I just think the hotel itself could use a really good, deep clean. It’s just an older hotel I think. After running around in the room for 15 min or so, our toddlers socks were black on the bottom. Kind of made me weary to walk barefoot. Some hairs in the shower and some random things like an earring in the floor that wasn’t ours. Not deal breakers but some people are pickier than I! I just think I could’ve found a similarly priced hotel with some upgrades, but I would stay here again with no issue.

Hotel was clean and quiet upon arrival. The room was comfortable and the temp was desirable. Breakfast was ready to go promptly in the morning. The food was well prepared. Smells of goodness filled the lobby. Morning staff very attentive to guest; they greeted and smiled. This hotel is located in a great location at an excellent price.

There were sick children huddling around the breakfast area. Just watching them sneeze and cough around the food made me feel ill. Check-in process could have went smoother. No one was at desk at arrival. Keys did not work to room the first time.

The breakfast had numerous options and tasted pretty good. I had the waffles, eggs and sausage with coffee and orange juice. My wife and I enjoyed the spa in the room and it he room had a king sized bed which was a very good bonus. I think the overall size of the room was impressive and I was glad we had a microwave and refrigerator in our room which was clutch for our stay.

I really think that getting larger and newer televisions would be a great addition to the room. I think that the tv should be positioned so you can watch it while in the spa if at all possible to enhance the main attraction of the room.

Great Value for the quality of the room we had (King suite w\ jacuzzi tub & fireplace). The view from our room of the whole "Legends" area was beautiful,and the proximity to Legends, I-435, and I-70 gives quick and easy access to anywhere you might go. The staff was super friendly and the lobby, the halls, and the room all smelled clean and pleasant. The facilities could use some TLC cosmetically, but at such a GREAT price the quality issues were minor and almost completely cosmetic..

The hotel is showing some age to the building...carpets( some small stains in various spots) lobby( had an area of water damage that has caused a hole to open up in the ceiling material) room door( had issues reading key card causing you to have to scan it multiple times each time to enter the room) dresser ( a couple of the drawers will not stay closed on their own but definitely better than not being able to open or close them at all).

The stay was great but according to my credit card company they didn't run my credit card through to 35 days later which is ridiculous it caused a major problem when they finally ran the payment through a month later. It caused several things not to go through and it put me in a huge bind because important things declined not to mention is embarrassing. I bet the hotel wouldn't allow me to pay 30 days afterwards I don't get why they can hold out that long on running my card. Lazy olunorganuzed to say the least.

The location was great! Very welcoming. Feel when you walk through the front door. Our room was very beautiful, but had a smell that wasn’t the most pleasant. Everything seemed clean. Just a few hairs were found in the shower. The pool seem very nice I didn’t get the chance to swim in it, though I was super excited for breakfast! The breakfast staff were amazing. Fresh food was being made. Every 15 minutes everything was clean the buffet style breakfast was amazing. I’m definitely coming back to this hotel for that breakfast! Overall, I was very happy with our stay!

The room was huge and we needed the space as we arrived after driving 15 hours. Check in was a breeze and this is a great location if you are going to explore the area. Wish we'd had more time there.

I honestly think they need to reevaluate their cleaning staff. There was a dirty wash cloth in the shower and the coffee pot had not been cleaned. I didnt tell them til morning as we were exhausted and I did not pursue compensation or a discount. Lets just do better...

So first off let's start with how clean this facility is! OMG! Smells like fabuloso and bleach LOL they are constantly cleaning, vacuuming and wiping. Small staff but very efficient. They are very friendly very personable and accommodating. The food was hot fresh, coffee was fresh, hot tub was hot. The GM was dope! Her staff was absolutely amazing everything we needed was provided. That's a great location and the Legends in Kansas City Kansas could pretty much walk to get anything you want. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay this would definitely be a repeat hotel. You can't beat the price, the location and the service is definitely unmatched! The day crew is hilarious LOL we had a good time. Feel like a home away from home not stuffy like some other hotels. They were people that you can relate to. Very much recommend this hotel it's rare that you find good service and people that enjoy their job.

Bed wasn't the most comfy but it was ok.

The room was spacious (larger than I expected) & clean. The furnitue in the rooms awas in good shape. Linens were clean.

Upon arrival, there was no one at the front desk & the phone was ringing. It took about 5 minuites for someone to come to the desk. As I was waiting, I noticed that the lobby furniture was quite dusty. My room was in need of many minor repairs like minor damage/wear & tear to walls & doors. The shower could use an update.

at a late check-in, a large amount was withdrawn from my two cards + $50 deposit. I booked through booking the price of $90.97, I was charged $140.96 + $140.96 + $50 deposit from two cards. I want this issue to be resolved as soon as possible.
