We liked our quaint little cottage style room and all the lush green around it. We spend a lovely sunny morning on the rocking bench. But we really liked our host Linda, who is a lovely lady, very friendly and with good advice on what to do in the area. On her advice we did the Hiawatha bike trail and it was FANTASTIC! Also, on our way to Yellowstone, we followed Linda's advice and went to the Lewis & Clark Caverns. Really enjoyed that too! And in the morning Linda serves a lovely breakfast with good coffee, yogurt, fresh fruit and tasty cakes and cookies. Thank you Linda!

Nothing, happy with everything

The Little River Motel is a delightful gem with mature trees all around. If you like mom and pop type places and want the smell of a pine forest, this is the place. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

There's a small sign on the mirror in my room that says to be patient because the hot water has to travel the length of the building. Being forewarned, I turned it on and went away to do something else. It did indeed take several minutes for any hot water to come through the faucet. Really not a big deal, since I wasn't in a hurry.

A quaint motel with some private cabins. Clean and comfy, coffee in the office in the morning. Beds, bedding, towels were all great. Loved the grounds for my morning walk and the picnic tables

Google map directions are a bit confusing so look for the posted signs on the roads. Our unit, #7, had no a/c which we were only told at registration. Breakfast is prepackaged pastries, if you are there early. Overall it's good spot; with a few tweaks it would be great

The location is excellent, very near the St Regis visitor's center, gas station, multiple restaurants, and the grocery store. The room was clean and the wifi was excellent.

There was no AC (just a rotating fan) so I imagine it could get pretty hot! It was high 80s when we were there and totally fine inside the room, but if it were hotter it would have been uncomfortable.

We'd stayed here on our way east to Minnesota, on my return trip I knew I would stay again. My unit was cute, clean, comfortable enough, and nestled back in the woods. And the coffee the following morning was quite good as well.

Only the noise from the highway a few yards away, and the shower is a bit tight.

It was a fun place. I understood that they were still renovating, and was impressed how nice the room was with all that happening. I would stay there again. Easy access to the town (walking distance, although they also had a shuttle) and to get on/off the highway.

The bed was comfortable. The room was very clean. The shower had good spray and the water got hot quickly.

The room was quite small. It would have been nice to have had a table for us to eat breakfast on. An outlet for plugging in our phones would be nice.

The beds were comfortable. We got the last A/C room so that was a plus. The emplyees were so nice and had great suggestions for fishing locations. This will be on my places to go stay again. 😊

Nothing really. We were pleasantly surprised.

Convenient for travel direction, had refrig, microwave. Plenty of space in room for bags and bikes.

The highway is right there and I have super sensitive hearing so I didnt sleep great. Usually I can drown it out with and AC but there were floor board registers so no "white noise" option. Shower is really small and I'm a small person. Pressure not to good but I could shower with hot water

We loved how comfortable the bed was! We were just expecting the basics, but they also provided individual soap, clean glasses, and satellite TV. Someone even shoveled the snow outside our door in the morning!

The heater only had one temperature, so we had to get up in the night to turn it on and off so that we didn't freeze or suffocate. The shower seemed to be either glacial or boiling, but after some fidgeting with the knob it was doable to find a manageable temperature.
