If we had spent more time in the room during this vacation; it would have been too small for us. However, we were visiting family on this trip so we were out the door early every day and coming home after 8pm. The grounds are beautiful. I was greeted by the same ducks coming around the parking lot each morning looking for breakfast! Walls are pretty thin in the room side of the resort. Maybe a cabin next time would be our first choice. Lots of neighbor noise late at night :( Otherwise, we enjoyed out stay immensely; probably a bit less expensive in the off season of the winter but we vacation only once a year so we budgeted accordingly.

I was there for a class reunion. I've stayed at the Riverfront Motel & Cabins 4 times now. Everyone I came in contact with was extremely cheerful, friendly and fun to be around. There are Small Rooms, Small Cabins and 2 Large Cabins. I was there on the 24, 25 & 26th of June. There was a Turkey with a newly hatched Turkey Chick, a Duck Family of Mom and Dad with 12 Ducklings. Getting to town we saw Elk & Deer. This facility is right on the Clark Fork River which was full to the max. There's a Dam on the river and with Generation that has been constructed from 1915 until 1995. Water charging over the Dam like crazy and down into the generators pumping out all kinds of Electric Power for the Western Montana and Northern Idaho Areas. It was a fabulous visit to my old home town!!

Since there were several events going on this weekend I didn't think to ask for a standalone Cabin. The place was full all weekend long and I was lucky to have one of the small rooms.

my only complaint was that The guest in the room next to me would go to bed every night with his television on and leave it on the entire night, loudly . I asked the front desk about it and they said that he was a hard of hearing disabled vet who liked the TV on all night. It wasn’t horrible, but the walls are a little on the thin side. I just turned up my noise machine to try and drown it out.

Well maintained property with a nice path to the Clark Fork. Some creative architecture: unusual support posts on the porch roofs. Friendly, non-judgmental staff. The trains, although audible, were not loud, and not visible from the rooms and cabins. Inviting outdoor BBQ/ fire pit area.

We had stayed here before, but this time the booking company upgraded us from a “king room” to a “king cabin” and it was wonderful! An adorable little free-standing cabin, much larger so we were able to completely unpack for our 3-day stay. It was immaculate and very wonderful.

The only negative thing is that we wanted to leave the front porch light on all night, and the curtains were very thin and let the light through. If they would only put in a pull-down shade, that would take care of the problem. And even though the housekeepers aren’t entering the cabins, they made it very easy to exchange towels if we wanted or get extra supplies.

The Big Horn (name of our cabin) was delightful, comfy, cozy, clean and oh so homey. We really enjoyed it. The duck pond was so much fun to sit by and watch the ducks and geese. Feeding them, quickly made new feathered friends. We really liked the fact that our dog was welcomed. We will definitely recommend this delightful place.

Nothing

The rooms were a nice size. The cabins were very nice including the chairs on the porch. We liked having then sofa for seating.

The brand new TV didn’t work via the remote but it was such a nice property, it wasn’t really missed.

I tried emailing the owners with a question if pets were allowed on the property with no response. I also tried calling several times up until the day we had to leave and no one would answer the phones or the phones were not working. We noticed on the door of our room we could have taken our dog with us is she was declared at the front desk. We had left her with a sitter because we could not confirm with anyone if pets were allowed.

Breakfast N/A Cute little cabin. Very clean and fresh. The gift shop was fun. The ice machines were very handy. People very nice.

We will book with Riverfront again someday. I liked everything.

Easy to find. Great location. Nice walk down to the river. Quit and comfortable. Clean and cozy. Easy check-in and check-out process. Great staff. Cute gift shop.
