Location location location - just outside of death valley national park. super cute inn, with comfortable rooms and beds and laundromat facilities on site which were very clean and in pristine shape. staff was happy to change dollars to quarters which was helpful so we could use the laundromat. we had nice views over the mountain and the main road nearby, no noise came through so it is just a nice view. beds were comfy and the shower was strong, clean and with hot water. there is free coffee at reception which was very welcome. there was a pool which was lovely to have a quick swim!

the pool area was a little outdated but it added to the charm to be honest.

Room was clean with all the facilities advertised. Good outside space available around the pool area. Convenient parking outside the room. Good breakfast although we were told initially it was only 1 item which seemed poor, actually it was only 1 of each item which made it a very good offering. Breakfast area alongside the lobby was spacious and clean.

No coffee facility in the room which meant heading to reception for coffee - went in the evening and the coffee was cold and there was a long wait to get more brewed. The miscommunication about the breakfast was disappointing as we had 1 poor breakfast and 1 good breakfast.

Having stayed in multiple similar establishments in California on our trip, this was the best value for money by far; Extra large, comfortable, spotless rooms with a nice bathroom, fridge and television. Excellent, friendly staff who are open to chatting about the surroundings of Beatty, whether it be life in the desert, Death Valley NP, or the wild donkeys that roam about the streets. We had the (cold) breakfast included, which was substantial enough and made for a great start to our day; tea/coffee, bear claws and similar pastries, hard-boiled eggs, fruit-flavoured yoghurts, orange juice, granola bars, etc. - perfect. We stayed here after comparing it with far more expensive accommodation options in or near Death Valley NP on the Californian side, and remain delighted with our choice. Death Valley Inn & RV Park is under an hour's drive from Furnace Creek Visitors' Centre, the perfect starting point for a trip to Death Valley NP - it is the perfect stop on the way to/from this National Park or to/from California/Nevada.

Not the accommodation's fault, but one thing to note about anywhere near Death Valley NP is that it is an exceptional, otherworldly area which offers incredible views of the desert and the skies. As such, many tourists/enthusiasts come to watch not only the sunset but also the sunrise. During our stay overnight here, a group of visitors awoke at around 05:00am, seemingly to do just that, and made quite a bit of noise while getting ready. Again, not the accommodation's fault, just something to note.

The location is fantastic if you are interested in exploring Death Valley National Park. The closest entrance will put you closest to sand dunes and Stovepipe/Marble Canyon area. With the exception of staying inside the park, I think this is the closest commute (50 minutes) into the park you can expect and the town is small but terrific. Several AMAZING saloons with awesome local color and a really awesome coffee shop/lunch counter in the travel plaza/candy shop. There are lovely mountain/rocks surrounding the town and a high likelihood of seeing wild burrows.

Honestly there was nothing we didn't like. They let us check in at midnight, the room was clean and comfortable. I suppose I would appreciate styrofoam cups or ceramic mugs in the room to use the included microwave and be able to heat tea. There is no coffee/tea station in the room, however there is a fridge and microwave. There is shampoo and bath gel, but no conditioner..so that would be a nice add as well...goodness knows hiking all day was dusty

Newly remodeled very clean room. Super friendly and welcoming staff. Continental breakfast has a good assortment of foods to choose from: large packaged banana and blueberry muffins, honeybuns, bear claws; a few kinds of individually packaged cereals, and for low-carb/protein there are yogurts, individually packaged Tillamook cheese, and two-pack hard boiled eggs which were very appreciated. Coffee, hot cocoa, milk, juices, and an assortment of tea to choose from. Closest to Death Valley on Eastern side. Goldwell Open Air Museum and Ghost Town in Rhyolite (both free) are a quick stop on the way to/from Death Valley. We even saw a couple of the wild burros cross the road in front of us when we first entered Beatty!

Our room door was a little glitchy on opening from the outside with the key card and had to be pulled/pushed hard to securely close, but both doable and we managed fine. I would imagine not all of the rooms are like this. I forgot to mention it to the front staff. Hot tub was out of order. :(

We weren’t sure what continental breakfast would entail but there were packaged processed pastries (muffins, bear claws, honey buns), milk/juice/coffee, hard boiled eggs, fruit, granola bars, cereal… a limit of one per item but much more available then we thought and plenty to start our day. We used the hot tub - the regular pool was quite cold at night, even for us (we’re from WI!) but it was really fun to dip our feet in as a contest of bravery! The room was clean except a washcloth we found when moving a chair. The staff was incredibly friendly! Very good value for easy entrance into Death Valley the next day.

We were sad not to see the wild burros- maybe next time!

We stayed at Beatty as a convenient stopping off place on our way from Las Vegas to Yosemite NP. Normally people could travel to Death Valley, however, the road through Death Valley was closed because of recent flooding. The Inn was in a good location although, since we arrived late, we had to drive to the local Casino to eat in Denny's! If earlier there were restaurants within walking distance. The room was very comfortable and clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. A small continental-style breakfast was certainly adequate for starting the day and there is a diner across the street if you prefer.. A comfortable and convenient stay.

Clean, friendly staff, and close to Death Valley. The town's free range burros wee adorable.

Facility is dated and walls are thin. We could hear neighbors when they were conversing in normal volume and made sure we spoke in lower tones. The town itself lacks amenities. We went to a town an hour away to grocery shop. We ate at the local Denny's, but had to walk through a smokey casino area to get to it. Not enough local eateries that were open and not attached to a casino.

What a wonderful surprise. What I expected would be a standard roadside Motel, was instead a place with renovated rooms that were clean, modern looking and quiet. The included breakfast was a nice bonus as well. A step up from a regular continental.

No complaints that I can think of. One of the other guests was letting their dog roam freely which was a bit of a nervous moment when I was walking back to my room and he was standing there growling at me.

Great place for Death-Valley exploration a stop-over. Room was clean, good facilites and petrol / restaurants / convenience stores nearby (few minutes drive, it's a very compaty town). All the usual USA hotel / RV park facilites, absolutely no complaints (pool, laundry, ice, vending)

Breakfast was very basic and only sweet and cold stuff, but to be expected from a "complimentary continental breakfast in a US motel) ;)
