great property in perfect location. well priced. staff were outstanding. bar downstairs was fun and affordable. coffee bar available evenings and early mornings. lots of comfy sitting areas inside and out. free museum & art gallery, both worth visiting.
we had a huge suite with kitchen - but absolutely NO dishes, cutlery, dish cleaning stuff, nor toaster, kettle, pans - absolutely nothing. well except roll of paper towel. no counter area in bathroom. Bar downstairs featured by kids running during a party on main floor. very disruptive to musicians and customers.

This historic hotel was a special find for us. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Thought I was taking a chance booking an older structure but was pleasantly surprised by the buildings upkeep. All furnishings with exception of the bed were period pieces which added a fun element to our stay. Located in the historic district of Boulder City there were plenty of shopping and eateries for a weeks stay. We were very impressed with this hotel and will book and stay again just for fun to spend more time exploring the Boulder city area.
The chairs in the living area could have been more comfortable.

Awesome location right in the heart of the historic downtown. Very easy access to plenty of dining options. Room was spacious clean, and comfortable, with the exception of the dining/kitchenette area. Wifi / internet was fast and stable. Appreciated the historic element to the building and room.
Lighting did not work in the provided kitchenette. Height of dining chairs in room (set at bar height) were mismatched to height of dining countertop (set at counter height) meaning I could not fit my legs under the countertop while seated on the chairs and eat comfortably on it as a result. I was pretty disappointed in not being able to use the space as a result since I stayed there for several days.

This is an incredible deal in Boulder City. The room are basic but incredibly clean (I have allergies and I was comfortable here!) The bed is pretty comfortable as well but I think it was a double bed and not a queen. It is wonderful for historians and for anyone who wants to enjoy the quaintness of Boulder City - right in the heart of town!!
Honestly, I was so impressed with this property for the price!

This is a fine hotel, with grand nostolgia. I walked in after driving a long distance and felt better times surround me. Lovely historic hotel with a great location. Staff is super accommodating. There was a small issue with the air conditioning, but one phone call and staff appeared. Kudos "extra" to the lovely young woman who came to my rescue, as she didn't make me feel dumb because the solution was simple. The rooms are well appointed, super clean with plenty of towels. I love this hotel and will return!!

I liked the historic vibe of the hotel which even has it's own museum. The rooms are quite small inline with the age of the building. Despite being small the room was very comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. There are a few nice sitting areas where guests can relax including a coffee area upstairs for guests. Lots of great places nearby to eat and explore.
They did not have any vegan options available at the restaurant.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Boulder Dam Hotel. What a gem! It was my husband's 65th birthday and the staff made us feel so special. The suite was delightful! Spacious, so clean, and you feel like you step back in time, right down to the metal room key! The speakeasy downstairs was so fun! Popped in for a nightcap and my sweetheart was treated to Happy Birthday tune by the glamorous piano player, and a birthday shot from the bartenders. Treat yourself to a few days at the Boulder Dam Hotel. You won't regret it.
Missed the onsite restaurant being open. New folks come in on the 28th of October. We'll be back to check it out!

We didn't want to get wrapped up in the casino scene and were there mostly to visit natural areas and Hoover Dam. Boulder Dam Hotel not only was close to the dam, but it had a GREAT museum that complimented and did not repeat any of the info we got at the dam - Highly recommend! Accomodations were adequate but not overly spacious, but clean and quiet which was all we wanted for sleep. The restaurant was under renovation so they recommended a couple of places close by that were great. In fact one diner that was only a block further away was our favorite place to eat during our entire 2 week vacation! (It was cheap and the food was great!) All rooms are upstairs, but there is an elevator so no worry about your luggage. Plenty of parking, great quiet location overall.
We had to sleep on the side of the bed farthest from the bathroom to get the firm part of the mattress. (We had 2 adjoining rooms and both had this problem).

Our room was very comfortable and clean. Room was dated, but in a good way. This is a historic hotel and is restored to be dated to the era. Very nice. All of the staff was very courteous and accommodating to us. I appreciated the morning coffee. Very relaxing. We had breakfast at the restaurant and had a good meal and great service. I would definitely recommend and encourage travelers to stay here.
The only thing that we didn’t like, was that we couldn’t stay another night as we had to get home. I didn’t have any negative things to say about this hotel.

The Boulder Dam Hotel is not only a cozy and welcoming stay, but is also a great place to experience a piece of history. The museum on the second floor was endearing and only added another fun thing to do on my vacation. The scavenger hunt implemented into the museum was a nice touch! The art gallery on the second floor was great as well. Very eclectic assortments of art pieces made by locals or the area with prints you of all sizes to purchase! The free ice, water, and coffee were a great touch as most hotels charge you for ice machines. The lounge was simply cozy and seems nice for the winter time as they have a huge chimney. The rooms were moderately sized assuming it's age but we're very homely. I enjoy the physical keys used for the doors rather than the key cards. All in all a great place to stay in the heart of Boulder City, not too far from the dam and state line.
My only concern was the soap dispensers were kinda hard to dispense in our restroom. There definitely was soap in the dispenser just didn't seem to want to come out.
