Opening in 2018, The NoMad was formerly the Monte Carlo Resort before it undertook a $650 million renovation. 8. SAHARA Las Vegas

The Sahara Las Vegas has an interesting history, originally dating back to 1952. The Sahara was one of the Las Vegas Strip’s most popular resorts, hosting iconic guests like Frank Sinatra, but it closed and rebranded as SLS Las Vegas. In 2019, the hotel was rebranded back to Sahara with a goal to bring back the nostalgia of the resort in Las Vegas.

The luxurious hotel has over 1,600 rooms, each providing guests with an elegant and comfortable experience. With a focus on entertainment, Sahara’s theater is known for its events and performances, including Magic Mike. There is an array of eatery options within Circa Resort, including up-scale restaurants such as Barry’s Downtown Prime steakhouse or casual eats like Project BBQ, a permanent food truck offering Carolina BBQ.

An interesting tidbit about Circa Resort and Casino is that it holds “Vegas Vickie”, which is an iconic symbol from old Las Vegas. The neon sign was a must-see landmark after its debut on Fremont Street in 1980 and can now be found at Vegas Vickie’s Cocktail Lounge inside Circa. The resort holds the largest sports betting experience in the world, with a 3 story sportsbook making it a premier gaming destination. Fontainebleau was a long-awaited hotel on the Las Vegas Strip. The property was purchased over 10 years ago, but faced a number of issues and delays over the years. It is the second addition to its sister property, Fontainebleau Miami. Both Fontainebleaus embody luxury and attract high-end guests.
