The bartender was excellent, front desk supper help full and welcoming , the town and the sites stunning in the fresh fallen snow, prices for dinner on the expensive side, I was taken back by the staff when seating us, the room was empty we got seated against the wall in a very uncomfortable table. We ended up leaving had our dinner elsewhere, atmosphere in the dining room was a bit cold.

Would like to see a menu that reflects more common pub style food priced accordingly, the pub side of hotel was full , the front room with the fireplace was active and very comfortable

The buildings and rooms are very charming and comfortable. The bed was great and everything is clean. The spa was fabulous and both my husband and I got massages. The views from different areas of the property were stunning; especially with the fall foliage. Breakfast was okay, but nothing special. The staff were all really nice and welcoming. There is a firepit area where they had a big fire in the evening. This ended early so as not to disturb other guests. The Inn is near lots of attractions including the Honeymoon Bridge (covered bridge) and is near the White Mountains National Forest.

The restaurant was not very good. We both ordered the duck and probably should have sent it back, but we were tired from a day of traveling. If you are staying on the second floor, you may have to carry luggage up steep steps.

Lovely double room with a very comfortable large king. Beautiful location with fire pit and Adirondack chairs that was lit every night and where we sat and looked at the stars after dinner; pools and jacuzzi (Especially after some strenuous hiking). Breakfast included.

They were not offering a cooked breakfast at the moment - continental and warm quiches only. The quality of these were very good though.

The theme of holidays and fall foliage. Wonderful front desk and breakfast staff. Excellent continental breakfast. Very quiet, no road noises. I loved the fact that we had a real key, instead of a newfangled key card...And there were real wine glasses, for my wine. Wonderful!!

Everything regarding the hotel was great. Biggest problem was finding a nice place to eat, on a Tuesday. Most places in the area are closed on Tuesday and Wednesday, we found out. Oh well, the leaf peeping was great. It's what we came for....

The Farm Inn is located a little outside of the town which gives it the advantage of being more in nature and along a non-busy road compared to many of the other hotels we looked at. (In off season)

Restaurant was closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays - which is good to know. And book SPA appointments three days before your stay! (Off-Season - there was only like 4-8 guests during our stay)

Loved the ambiance of this very old property. Just what we expected and wanted. Wood floors are all uneven and super creaky. Attention to detail was appreciated. They've changed breakfast due to Covid and it's only Continental, but very well done. Attendant, Storm takes her position very seriously, and does an excellent job! Her friendly cheerful face is great morning wakeup.

We're older seniors, and weren't aware of the steps involved in getting to our room. Should have requested ground floor. Parking could be improved, as you can dropoff at the door, but then only Parking place is across the Highway. Not very easy for Seniors.

The property is beautiful, so nice and quiet, with pretty flower gardens, well maintained grounds, clean roomy rooms, numerous lodging buildings, friendly welcoming staff, a large outdoor pool, a very nice indoor pool with a hot tub and fitness room including shower rooms. You feel comfy and at home.

More about being aware of than not liking: Parking is not available near room for certain buildings, but once you see why it’s manageable. Property is hilly (after all you are in the mountains) for those who may have mobility issues, but I would think accommodations for those with these issues is likely available if requested. Some rooms only contain a shower with no tub, so be mindful of that when booking online. I wasn’t mindful of that.😔

Everyone was very welcoming. The decor and people made it feel as if you were walking into your family's own home.

My only disappointment was the drain in the bathtub was either old or it had a little pink mold around it so I didn't end up taking a bath which is one of the things I love to do when I go away. The bathroom was very clean, as was the room and bed. I was very happy with my room except for that one area. I will still continue to come up because everything else is so wonderful. It was probably due to Covid and stretched staffing. Not a problem, staff are trying their best and Christmas Tree farm still stands out as exceptional during this time.

We were there for my daughter’s wedding and the staff was wonderful. The hotel is very clean and great and the grounds were kept very nice. It’s a great place for a venue like that. Very nice

The breakfast is continental and was a little below what I expected. we ended up going down the road for breakfast on our second day
