Location was awesome. Only a block away from the beach/boardwalk. Customer service was excellent. She even suggested the apartment that happened to be available and it was actually the best choice. I was able to check-in before usual time which was a huge help especially since I was traveling with children. I would definitely recommend the stay. It’s small and a bit outdated (could use some sprucing up) but that’s minimal If what you’re looking for is a quiet, clean, close to the main attraction place to stay.

It wasn't walking distance to any restaurants or liquor store. It looks like the facility at one time had a bar/restaurant. It would be beneficial if they would open that space up again. That’s the only thing really missing.

THE closest motel to Jenkinson's boardwalk on Point Pleasant beach, I love coming to The Amethyst Motel! I love a good decent no-fuss motel experience, atmosphere is very friendly and homey, owners and staff are what make the place feel clean and safe, for families of all sizes, there is a pool and free breakfast 10-minute walk to the njtransit train and local stores and restaurants, worth the stay every time!!

the Motel is aged and outdated but under renovation!! Despite that, this motel has that classic jersey shore motel feel that feels like home!

Coffee and muffins and cold iced water were provided each morning. There were adequate chairs, umbrella tables and chairs and lounges on the pool deck. The staff were super. Plenty of towels. Small refrigerator and microwave in the room. We were able to check in and park prior to check in time. Short walk to the boardwalk and beach.

Although the property was older, it was very clean and facilities, such as the pool, were excellent. Parking was provided.

The room was great, the pool area was above my expectations. Location is super convenient and close to the beach. Staff was super nice and helpful.

Cleanliness of the room was not great, from bathroom and tiles to carpet. Breakfast muffins were very limited and not great either.

The staff here was terrific! Anything u needed they gave you. My room was on the second floor and asked after two days if I could change to the first floor I have back issues and they changed it for me right away. The room were clean and big just alittle outdated but not a big deal. They were clean only thing that really mattered

Everything was fine

We have stayed at this property many times and normally go through the hotel directly. we went through Booking this time and we’re stuck with a room next to the main property. Although they were book, Amethyst switched our room to the main building.

Nothing. This is the third time booking.com put us in a room that was not where or as described, we will not be using you again.

Breakfast was just coffee cake & coffee, so plan on bringing cereal etc Frig is available So that helped

Super Friendly staff, clean but old, amazing location 2 blocks from boardwalk, coffee and muffins in the morning provided....all in all good value it's a true old school motel at the beack with a good pool

great location, room was comfortable, staff was super friendly.

my only issue I had was the door to get into our room. Keys would not work but the staff was very accommodating and would come and help.
