Anchor Motel

Such a nice family. They do not tolerate any partying. They are onsite 24 hours a day because they live behind the office. There was a grill for use, and a small pool. It was close to things; next to the police station and fire dept. when we checked out, they showed us a suite room which we will book next time. Everything has been redone.

The room was small. Bring your own pillows. The beds were hard. But I like the hard bed. I had to ask for soap and extra towels. Bring power strips or extension cords. We were fighting over the outlets to charge our phones.

The customer service is excellent. From the moment I arrived they were welcoming and respectful. There weren’t towels when I checked in. I called and they brought them to me immediately. I decided to stay an extra day. I sent an email request and the responded quickly. The whole experience has been great. The place is clean and roomy. It may not be a high end hotel, but it is clean. Well equipped with full size refrigerator. An oven, stove and coffee pot. There’s utensils, cookware and in the bathroom they have a blow dryer! The shower has amazing water pressure. Everything is so clean. It has plenty of space and even a large dining room table. I had read the air conditioner is noisy. But honestly, it’s window air conditioners. They are very quiet compared to other window air conditioners. I could only stay 3 days as i traveled with family for a reunion. It is walking distance to the boardwalk and ocean . I can see the Ferris wheel when I walk outside. I should also state that it’s very quiet. You will or be disappointed. I did not know where I was going to stay and when you book online you never know what the place will look like: this place looked like the pictures the service is exceptional. My daughter and her family stayed at a house right around the cornier from me. They came back here to pick me up and were amazed how nice this house is. Bed might not be fantastic . But you most likely would come here for the beach, the bed is fine. Bring a pillow if you like fluffy pillows, but to me they were fine. They sent me a conformation # email when I booked it which was so welcoming. It was more like a welcoming letter. They even included the wi-fi password In the welcome later. I honestly can’t say enough about it. The customer service , I need to emphasize, is great! You will not be very happy you found this place! 10/10

Nothing! The place is great. It’s a 5 min walk to the beach. It is very clean. There’s plenty of room. I read so posts that Said the air conditioner was loud, but they are all on air conditioners. Thats how they sound. I thought they were quiet. And they keep the place really cool and comfortable.

This Motel was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. They explained the check in process well and answered all my questions. The motels location was great. It was just a short walk to the beach and boardwalk. It was also inexpensive when compared to other motels. The room was very tidy. The bathroom was nice. I loved having a mini fridge and microwave. It was very convenient. The air conditioning also worked great.

We stayed in a three bed room that was small for three full sized beds. I wish they had been twin sized, honestly. We were really squished together and I did disturb my friend getting up in the night because I couldn't help bumping her bed. The beds were way too close together and the room felt small. I also felt like there should have been more hanging rods for towels. They only clean your room or bring new towels on request so we were trying to reuse towels but hanging three towels proved difficult as we also wanted to dry our swimsuits. Still, it was a clean, inexpensive room. I would totally book it again given the price and location. Any inconveniences were minor and really it was a good place to crash after visiting the beach and boardwalk.

Even though our booking is for anchor, we stayed at the sea palace. I don’t know what that was about. Lol. We stayed here for my daughters 18th birthday. It was me, her, and 3 of her friends. the apartment we stayed in was spacious, very clean, comfortable. And a great location. There is a corner store two doors down, they have everything. And their sandwiches are really good. JD at the sea palace was very friendly, and nice. Our bathroom was huge and the shower was awesome. Our place had everything. It is like 4-5 blocks away from the boardwalk. You can see the top of the Ferris wheel from the porch and at night it looks really cool all lit up. This spot was the perfect location. It felt like we were right in the center of seaside. Everything we needed was within walking distance. We highly recommend staying here. We look forward to booking here in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay, the only thing we noticed was that the walls seem really thin, we could hear our neighbors talking and walking around which means they probably heard us too. But that isn’t really a big deal. Cause we enjoyed our time here.

The staff were super pleasant and easy to work with. Our room was ready upon arrival, which was an hour before check-in was listed. We were even able to stay an extra night with no issues. We stayed in two rooms, both of which were pretty spacious and comfortable. There was great water pressure and plenty of hot water for showers. The hotel is within walking distance from everything, and as a bonus there’s a 7/11, popular breakfast restaurant, fire department, and police station that are only a two minute walk away. Overall, we had no worries on our stay and enjoyed our time both in and out of this hotel!

The door to our first room was difficult to open and close, and the tv remote did not work. The bathrooms were pretty cramped, but nothing that caused any major discomfort. The floor of the first room was a bit dirty, but again nothing major. Everything except the door was very minor and can easily be fixed. The rooms could use some updating as well, but there’s nothing that would keep us from staying here again.

Room was big enough for a large family, it had 4 double beds. Boardwalk and beach were within walking distance so you do not have to move your car or pay to park. Arrived early and asked if we could park on property while we went to the beach until check in, but was allowed to check in early which was even more convenient. The pool was clean and relaxing. The room had a refrigerator and microwave.

The sofa in the sitting area needed to be replaced. The freezer needed to be defrosted, the fridge was not as cold as it should be possibly because it was not defrosted. The bedspreads were old fashion and they did not stock the room with enough towels for each occupant. Safe location right next to the police department. unable to get late check out though and we felt check out time was too early.

The location for the price! 2 blocks to the beach, the water park, and the ride section of the boardwalk! I had 2 young children with me, ages 3 and 4, and both were able to handle walking even after a day at the beach and night on the boardwalk! Right next to the police station, so it also made me feel safe walking at night.

The room is very small and does not have a coffee maker. Although there is a 7-11 one block away, I would have loved to be able to make my own.

Even with the mix up they still ran around and got us a room big enough for all 5 of us very quickly. We were very close to the boardwalk, nice clean pool, the owners were very nice and accommodating, the room was spacious, we had a new air conditioner and full sized fridge.

The misunderstanding with Booking.com.. the motel didn't even know we were coming or how many people were going to be there the rate we were quoted was wrong from Booking.com so we had to collect more money from the family to cover the remaining balance while in the parking lot. Next time I will book directly with the Anchor themselves.

After a crappy experience in Wildwood we went to Seaside and stay at this hotel. The staff was very kind! They allowed us to view the rooms prior last hotel in Wildwood had black mold! Very clean very quiet just 2 blocks from the boardwalk. Staff showed us their larger rooms for larger family they took pride in their hotel and simply unknowingly made a horrible situation better by showing compassion to us. They allowed us to keep both our cars after check out and even use our room one more time before we left after we checked out! pool was open they had a BBQ available best bang for your buck in Seaside quiet yet close to everything

no significant complaints! But some improvements/suggestions, double rooms are a little small along with the bathroom and beds were not very comfortable but again would totally come back and stay at this hotel!

I loved it. It was close to the beach and the managers or owners were super nice. I went with some friends and we got an apartment and a hotel room. The other guests around the rooms were kinda chaotic not gonna lie, but you can't pick who you're going to be next door to. Plus they were all teenagers so I guess it was kind of expected. I like how if anything was needing, they were at your disposition which is helpful. I qould definelty reccomend. Everything was clean and well kept. Sometimes for the hotel rooms you gotta ask for towels and the apartments is bring your own.

The parking felt a little all over the place, but I understood that parking was limited unless you wanted to pay for your parking.
