Bay Breeze Motel

Location is about three blocks from the beach. You can easily walk there and a lot of people did. This is an older motel and is outdated with a small pool but we just needed a place to lay our head. I grew up there and only had a few days to show my newly wed husband my stomping grounds, etc. We had no intention of using the pool with the beach just down the street. When booking the room I asked if there could be a bottle of champagne with two glasses and strawberries there waiting for us when we got there. Mike the manager made sure we had the items asked for. With that being said it suited our needs and we would stay there again.

Love the manager!! Mike is very thorough. On-site property manager and doesn't miss a fart! He does not allow any nonsense to occur in his motel. He is accommodating to the best of his ability. The hotel is approximately three blocks from the boardwalk so it is very convenient and within walking distance.

What I truly disliked was the new mattresses that were purchased since our previous stay. Mine was very hard. I actually checked to make sure it wasn't the box spring, lol.

It was close to everything the beach boardwalk shops and restaurants were just 3 blocks away, parking was provided and free. They had an nice clean spotless pool and the owner Mike was fabulous very helpful . The rooms were clean but outdated could use a makeover but other than that it was clean the shower was hot and clean.

The price!

The location is practical: 10 min walk to beach, nearby restaurants. Room was quite clean and bed sheets clean. Very helpful staff. Parking complimentary on premises.

The place needs to be renovated in the last 20 years ago, but A/C works fine. Carpet clean but old. Weak to no Wi-Fi in any room. Tiny room. This is not a 3-star motel based on price, but it is located on NJ shore.

The hotel was clean. The staff was friendly, and my overall stay was fine. The only thing I did not care for was they did not allow you to use the pool pass check out time. Most hotels after you check out Still allow you to use the amenities. Everything else was fine

The overall stay here was great. The location is few blocks from boardwalk but a manageable walk with 2 kids. The room is basic and could be updated but was clean and worked well for couple nights. The best part of our stay was the property manager Mike. Very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.

The staff is wonderful, the manager (?) Even remembered me and greeted me by name, and asked how my job had been treating me the past year, remembering me from a conversation we had a year ago. Super friendly staff, the location is nice and quiet, but still close to the beach and restaurants. Rooms are clean, and bed fairly comfy too. 😀

Only thing I can think of would have been a table to eat at, everything really was great.

it was a little further from the boardwalk & beach. if you like to hang out at on balcony at night request rooms 1-20.

Rooms are very clean, property is well maintained. Swimming pool is small and suitable for kids. Location is ok. Bit far from sea beach.

They charge extra 20$ on top of listed room rent

The staff was friendly, helpful and outgoing. The accommodations were as described not very new or fancy but functional and clean. The price was great considering it included parking, a small clean pool and within walking distance of stores, restaurants and the beach.
