Le Voyageur - a Red Collection Hotel

The boardwalk was only 2 blocks from the hotel. The rooms looked nice and were neat/clean other than the floor felt sticky so I wore flip-flops inside (but I'm a little bit of a germaphobe).

The walk to the boardwalk was only a couple of blocks but it's at the very end so it's a lot of walking just to get to the good part of the boardwalk and a very long walk to the other end, and of course, you then have to walk all the way back unless you pay for the tram ($5/person). Or pay for the parking lot and even then you are at the far end of the boardwalk away from everything. The coffee was terrible so I bought my own and needed filters, too. The coffee they supply is not good at all and it's in its own filter pouch (like a big tea bag without a string).

We stayed in the hotel part and the rooms were very modern and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great location. Only a short walk to the boardwalk and beach.

The pool wasn’t open yet, however we were there two weeks before Memorial Day weekend. I just wish they would have mentioned that when I booked the room while I was talking to them. The beds were okay for my husband and daughter but I have an extremely bad back so the firmness really hurt my back each morning. The volume on the TV also only went up to a certain point and I could barely hear it over the air conditioner and two kids.

The location was fantastic for the price. Just a 5 min walk from Wildwood Boardwalk and nearby restaurants. The room was larger than expected, especially the bathroom/shower and very clean/smelled good. Housekeeping was wonderful and asked what we needed on our second day; we didn't have to request anything. The front desk woman was so sweet when we said we were there for a bachelorette weekend and made sure the bride had a good time on our way out. She was very down to earth and hysterical, we loved her! We arrived early around 1pm and were able to check in right away and was given a ground floor room upon request. Would absolutely stay here again! I'm sad it is booked out for my bday weekend in August.

They are difficult to get ahold of via phone/email, but they are VERY busy around this time of year, so it was completely understandable. Our only complaints were: the pool closed at 7, we wished it was open a bit later. The beds, in my opinion, were very comfy but a bit small.

I was disappointed the WiFi didn’t work most of the time. We booked a room with a king bed and a queen bed. The king bed with the AC in the same room was very comfortable. Where the queen bed it was much warmer. There was no coffee maker and hair dryer in the room but they were stated as an amenity. (We walked to the bagel shop around the corner and it was $8.71 for 2 black coffees.)

The rooms were way nicer than a typical motel in the area. Staff was accommodating and nice.

The towels actually lol I usually look forward to soft towels and they weren’t the best. Also if you plan on using the pool it’s a little small and is only open until 7pm. We stayed on the beach all morning so we didn’t use it.

The room was clean

The 2 bedroom did not have a door u had to leave the air conditioner on high for the other room and you froze in the room with the air conditioner and without the door it was not private it could of used a sliding door so you didn’t hear others in the room getting up earlier etc.

Booked a quick 1 night getaway with my husband & we Stayed in the newer building & EVERYTHING was fabulous! The room was so big & even had a little living room AND a balcony which we absolutely LOVED! One thing that stood out to us the most was how clean the place was too! Right now with COVID extra cleanliness is a plus & when I say this room was spotless & smelled sooo clean I truly mean it!! The woman who worked the front office named Rose was amazing as well. She even took time out to show my husband & I other family rooms they have with kitchenettes for future trips with our kids because we’re so happy with this hotel. I highly recommend staying here it’s totally worth it. Close to boardwalk but away from the loud riff raft that comes off the boardwalk. I can’t say enough good things about this place !

The property has character and was a cute little hotel. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning was amazing.

The pool was a little small but when you have the beach so close to you it’s not that big of a deal. It’s better suited for kids no doubt.

The staff was great, pool was nice. Room was very clean and they use bed bug covers on their mattresses. Rooms look recently updated.

The only air conditioner was in the bedroom. I rented two rooms - both had a bedroom and another room (one had two bedrooms and the other was an efficiency room). This meant the bedroom was very cold the the other room in the front was barely cool.

The cleanliness. The pool was nice. The free parking. Easy check in and out. The location was good. The beds were good.

The 2 room suite we had could use a second air condition, only one in the back room so the front was always hot. We had to buy a fan. It's pricey!
