Econo Lodge Santa Rosa

Good size room with a super comfortable bed, great pillows and excellent soft sheets—they felt like silk! Loved the wood floor—so much more sanitary than carpet. The sink was outside the toilet/shower which is very convenient for 2 people (although the area around the sink was rather small, with no vanity space for toiletry bags). Shower pressure was excellent and we appreciated the grab bar.

The upholstered area to sit or rest luggage was seriously stained. The room was generally clean but the edges and corners of the floor were dirty. In spite of these issues, we would stay again for the wood floor, comfy bed and good shower.

Room was very roomy. I feel like this was used for a long stay as it seemed SO big. I loved the bed and bedding. The whole place was clean. I loved our excellent service that was provided at the check-in desk. We checked in very late and the gentleman who helped us was very gracious without being condescending. I had a lovely sleep.

I think nothing, really. We just needed a crash place for one night and it was more than expected.

it was clean & easy to fine. bed was comfy and room was clean.

very large Gap around the door had to lay a towel in front of the door. due to the gap around the door on the sides and underneath it was very drafty & cold. I believe due to new floors there needs to be a threshold put underneath the door. there needs to be a central location for trash after picking up after my dog it was hard to find the trash can. it was back in the corner needs to be out where you take the dog.

Beds were super comfy and employees were very nice. They had some very nice conveniences like USB ports for charging, fridge, and safe. We.were in a pet room and it had nice vinyl plank floors. Very comfortable room. We would stay there again. The good things outweighed the small issues.

The bathroom needs the walls washed, especially the lower parts from steam dripping. Hairdryer didn't work, staff was very prompt and said they'd take care of it. TV channels were mostly pay per view and shopping channels.

We checked in on 10/16/2021 and the front desk clerk could not have been nicer. He put our cold gel packs in a freezer for us because I have medicine that needs to be kept cold. Traveling all day, they tend to lose their chill if not starting out frozen. The fridge in room was nice, but the freezer section in it was very small and would never have frozen anything. We loved the atmosphere outdoors which was very conducive to visiting with other travelers. Too bad there was not a little sesting area outdoors anywhere. Liked the vinyl plank floor in room. Made it seem cleaner!

Would have liked a little table and chairs outside room. Also, there was only one place to sit inside other than the bed. At breakfast buffet would have appreciated bananas and a iced water source.

Good location. It was the off season, so it was definitely quiet. Most everyone had left by the time we were up and moving. The breakfast was decent. Rooms were clean.

There were some issues checking in. problems with them not seeing the Booking reservation. However, they ended up giving us a slightly lower rate due to the inconvenience.

We appreciated everything about this hotel. It was a last-minute decision to call it a night and we chose the Econo Lodge in Santa Rosa. The room was clean, the bed was comfy and the breakfast was great.

Gena was on duty that night. We had had bad experiences on our road trip. Coincidentally the previous two places we stayed, the TV did not work. When we settled in, Gena called to be sure our TV was working. She went over and above and made us weary travelers feel welcome. Thank you.

The bed was comfortable. The TV was very good. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise. Did not expect to get that. Towels were fresh. Parking was good and the lot was well lit.

The shower was only mildly hot. I found a wad of long hair on a hand rail in the shower. The previous person did not want to put it in the drain and left it. Then the cleaners did not pick it up. I didn't let me y wife see that.

Room was comfortable and clean bed was comfortable. It was a basic, clean room with a refrig and microwave. I used the frig but not the microwave.

Breakfast bar was minimal and absolutely nothing provided to drink except coffee and milk for cereal. Basically just a few cereals and a waffle maker. I drank a cup of water from the sink that, fortunately, was there. I had the make-it-yourself waffle which was fine but the syrup was awful. Clearly it was no-name. It was awful-ruined the waffle.

Staff was helpful and friendly. Switched our room out with no problems. Priced fairly.

Upon entering the first room given to us we encountered a very strong smell of cannabis use that occurred previously in that room. The Front desk worker moved us to a different room. The second room was acceptable but it did appear that the floors were not washed and looked dirty. Everything else was clean and fine.
