Large room, but lacking a dresser. Very clean with plenty of towels if you are planning a longer stay. Due to covid protocol housekeeping needs to be requested. The morning breakfast was excellent. Earl, the resident chef, was very pleasant and accomplished. Every day he would put out different hot items. From blueberry pancakes to waffles, bacon, sausage, eggs to order, ect. We were there for 6 mornings and really looked forward to it.The small fitness was really nice to have also.

The bed was large but rather uncomfortable for me. Needs an elevator also, which I hear is being put in.

I stayed at this hotel with a friend while on a road trip in the fall. I loved it so much that when my family planned a winter weekend in Vermont, I decided to add this stop in along the way. The hotel is charming and cozy with a friendly staff that accommodated all of our needs. There is a complimentary cup of soup offered on arrival, a beverage station, and the new addition of a small market pantry with candy and snacks that my grandchildren couldn't get enough of. The free breakfast included options for all to enjoy. We will definitely make Century House a stop on future trips north. It would be great to stay for more than one night next time.

The lobby receptionist was welcoming! she was extremely friendly and courteous. I asked if the room could be changed to the first floor because there is no elevator. she quickly & efficiently made the accommodation . The lobby area had a fireplace with 2 comfy leather chairs where we had a cup of delicious butternut squash & apple soup, complimentary. There was a coffee, tea, hot cocoa station along with flavored cucumber water and fresh cold water. On another table was a jar of yummy chocolate chip or raisin cookies. On the counter was a heated towel machine for guests use. The rooms are immaculate with hardwood flooring which is much better than carpet! There was plenty of dresser and hanging areas , a small refrigerator, coffee maker, hairdryer, ironing supplies if needed. A comfortable corner chair, a desk, tv, and best of all the comfortable pillow top queen size beds!

I would suggest an indoor heated pool for the colder months, especially for families with children who are staying for more than one day.

We got the business class king room. Room was clean, cozy, and modern. TV had all kinds of good channels and movies on demand. There was a mini fridge and microwave in the room. The bathroom was very clean and modern. The room truly felt like a “home away from home”. Upon checkin they had complimentary warm welcome of homemade chicken noodle soup. It was delicious. Complimentary breakfast was scrambled eggs, sausage, toast etc… The staff was incredibly pleasant. The receptionist that checked us in was so sweet and friendly and The guy manning the breakfast buffet would do anything for you! we checked out the restaurant and the menu looked very good! Filet, lobster tail and that sort of deliciousness!

Nothing! It was an amazing value for the price we paid.

The breakfast was very good. I liked that each day was different. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I also thought the ammenities at the front desk were nice. There were hot towels, cookies, infused water and coffee and ice water. The game room was nice also.

We had a problem with our electronic key. At least 3 times during our 3 day stay we needed to have the key reset .And of course it was when we really needed to get back into room, it didn't work.

Our stay here was unplanned but turned out to be a surprising treat! Loved the boutique feel to the hotel with its bit of old world charm. Every staff member we encountered was helpful and cheerful. We were fortunate enough to get a renovated room which not only was modern and clean, but exceptionally well thought out. We really appreciated a breakfast that was more than cheap carbs. If staying anywhere to Albany, NY, this place is well worth the stop!

It feels like home. staff is very welcoming attentive and accommodating. we stay here always.

Railings are absolutely necessary along both sides of the walkway built for accessibility. people like my husband cannot walk safely without them. he had to use the stairs with difficulty. not to mention an elevator should have been installed ages ago. probably will have to stay elsewhere next time. Also the “fitness center” is an insult to anyone who wants to exercise. only the treadmill was usable and it is so worn that the membrane over the buttons is gone completely.

Super staff, very attentive, friendly, and helpful. Breakfast was great, though a bit of the same every day. Excellent eggs, well cooked bacon, good pastries, and fresh fruit. Coffee was good too. They even donate a meal to a local shelter for each meal served!

Overall, a great place, not sure if there's anything I would change. A tiny bit dated on the furniture, but that's part of the charm. Walls are a bit thin, so if your neighbor is noisy you'll hear them.

The included hot breakfast was good and the staff was generally friendly (except for one). The room was clean and updated, and the hotel provided complimentary water bottles in the room and the front desk had "hot towels" available (a classy touch!) They also texted me soon after check-in to "welcome" me and offer assistance if needed.

Due to an unexpected disruption to my trip, I inquired about adding an additional night (weekday) and they wanted to charge me a much higher rate (more than $70 higher than the weekend rate) and to be honest, that particular staff member was not friendly nor accommodating, but all the rest of the staff I interacted with were.

It is a quaint hotel, very picturesque and well kept. Welcoming cookies were a hit with grandchildren. Pool was a nice added benefit after a long day on the road. Easy to find and a great price too.

The only issue for us was the slight musty smell in the room. It had rained hard the day we stayed and the room might have gotten musty from that.
