Sleep Inn Kernersville I-40

Room was clean. Access was easy on first floor. A Maintenance man was very polite and helpful while passing in the hall with our full cart when leaving. Cleaning staff always did a good job.

Breakfast was not good. Eggs seemed not cooked enough. Coffee was mediocre. Pancakes and waffles had to be self-made. I did not want to make any. I only had breakfast on 1st day. Second day I did not finish it. Front desk staff was flat. When passing through lobby, they did not greet us. There were no smiles. Breakfast staff was flat. Said nothing. No greeting. Seemed dissatisfied when area for making pancakes was messy. But she did thoroughly clean it up. Next time we will get 2 beds. There was not a comfortable chair in the room.

The comfort, peace and professionalism of the welcoming staff is amazing. Everyone worked well as a team and met and also exceeded my expectations and needs. I will come back and recommend this hotel to others. Trey who works second shift made my continual stay for 4 nights worth it. I would definitely stay a year at a time if I could. Thank you for making me feel welcome and I appreciated all of the beautiful amenities. This is a 10-star hotel, much success always.

No issues:) Everything was in order, clean and all of the staff worked well together. The breakfast menu and buffet are delicious and I really appreciated the hot fresh meals.

I like the convenience of location I like the cleanliness and the relaxation

What I didn't like it was my first time making reservations at a hotel and I didn't understand when I said that I want to upgrade I thought I was going to get a bigger bed but instead I got two full size beds and it was a little uncomfortable with me and my fiance together trying to be comfortable in the bed together and that was no one's fault but mine I didn't quite understand when it asked me that I want to upgrade but now no LOL 🤣🤣🤣🤣

This place was the same price ($4 more overall) for a nearby hotel that has like the bare minimum on Memorial Day weekend nonetheless! We were expecting the bare minimum as well but what we got was super friendly staff, a really good hot breakfast, comfortable and stocked rooms, and just an overall sense of comfort from the smell when you walk in to the incredible shower!

Literally nothing, we were impressed with everything here. Shower, bed, amount of space, breakfast, the price; it was all very well balanced.

Easy access to I-40. Close to restaurants. Quiet. Free breakfast.

I was in a handicap accessible room at my request. There were plenty of bars in the shower and at the toilet but the height of the tub wall made it very difficult to get into the tub. Because of this I wouldn't consider this a handicap accessible room.

I liked the fact that I was given a handicap room on the first floor. Also, the staff gave us towels.

I had a chair that was stained heavily, I asked them to give me another one or clean it. I sat it in the hallway where it set for days. I ended up covering it up with a sheet to sit on it I didn't like the doors to the room. It was very secure

The location was perfect right off of I-40. It was easy to get in and out of the parking area and located at a good distance to the rest of the town. It looked like the hotel had been recently remodeled and was very clean.

Pillows are too soft. Lack in neck support

I initially selected a Sleep Inn that was 4 miles from the Convention Center. That’s what it was showing. I was going to be late and called and paid over the phone and received the receipt and was shocked at the addressed. Another couple also booked and was certain they were staying closer too and ended up at the same place.

It was a standard 2-star hotel. Good room size, clean room, clean bathroom, clean towels, clean mini fridge, clean microwave. Breakfast was pretty good too, just your average American breakfast (eggs, sausage links, biscuits, gravy, cereal, toast, peanut butter and jam, waffles, muffins, coffee, tea, etc). Overall, hotel was quiet, staff friendly, would recommend!

Hot roasted potatoes was great with scrambled eggs hit the spot. Good fresh coffee all day. Clean room and friendly staff with a smile is nice to see in the morning.

A soft chair in the room would have been nice but I enjoyed everything else.
