Facility was clean, well kept.

Could hear everything from the room above me. Sounded like someone was going bowling in the middle of the night. Whomever was below me was complaining about the noise in my room. I have an ADHD pre-K kid that I had to restrict to staying on the bed only at night time. Probably could use more insulation in floor/ ceiling areas. Couldn’t hear anything from rooms next door/ on the sand floor as us.

We had a problem at check in They did not show our reservation made and prepaid through booking. Jocelyn? Made a few calls to verify that reservation was paid for but had not been forwarded to the hotel by Booking.com She was very friendly and helpful and gave us a room upgrade. Not necessary but it was a nice offer. It seemed to us that Booking did not confirm reservation with the hotel we were checking into prepaid. Not sure but could have been a major problem for us if she had not been persistent in getting it corrected.

The friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the gym, and pool area made the whole stay 100% better. The staff was very helpful and answered any and all questions I had. I also loved the convince of the "pantry" area to buy snacks and detergent if needed.

Not a thing! I loved my whole stay with them. I would recommend it to anyone in that area and at other locations. I will definitely be back when I'm in the area and using other locations when traveling!!

The room was immaculate and breakfast was outstanding!

Would like the desk staff to wear name tags, I like to know who I'm speaking with and that they are in fact staff! Afternoon/evening desk staff were friendly and helpful. Daytime checkout staff, not so friendly.

We had a long drive and traffic was terrible which made the trip really bad we made a normal 10 hour trip to 15 hour drive THE WHOLE 3DAY VISIT WE WERE KEPT UP BY THE PEOPLE ABOVE US IT SOUNDED LIKE SOMEONE WAS BOWLING ALL NIGHT!!!

it is very clean, has a good breakfast, and is conveniently located right off the highway. love the chaise!

soundproofing could be a little better. I could hear some very excited kids racing up and down the hall last night. not the hotel’s fault of course, but I was exhausted after teaching all day, so the noise was terrible timing. thicker walls and doors would have been very. welcome at that point.

The hotel is truly clean and everything is fresh. The elevators are fast and smooth. The bed was so comfortable and relaxing. The AC in the room was perfect and efficient with the easy to control wall thermostat. The in shower soap/shampoo/conditioner dispenser was so convenient and smelled amazing, not to mention the great water pressure. And the breakfast!! So many selections with lots of hot, fresh food. This will definitely be our go-to hotel when we come back to the area.

We loved being able to sit outside to have evening chats together and play cards. Inside, everything seemed so very quiet. The continental breakfast was amazingly full of options. We loved our stay (2nd time for me, first for other family members) and will definitely be back when in the area again. Jose (front desk registration) was very friendly and helped answer all our questions. Also Mikayla (cleaning services) did a beautiful job in preparing our rooms for us. Everything was VERY equipped, clean and "fresh"!! Two GREAT assets to have working for Holiday Inn Express!!!

We would recommend putting 1-2 trash recepticles out on the patio area to make it more accessible to keep cleaned up. (Not sure if possible with bear visitations??)

Nice, new hotel with very comfortable beds. Breakfast was good with premade omelets, sausage, and hot cinnamon rolls in addition to standard breakfast fare. Convenient location to our hike at Catawba Falls and continuing on to Asheville.

Somewhat pricey for a Thursday night considering it isn't in a busy location.

The beds were clean and very comfortable. The to was huge and clean. Had everything you needed and great soaps and bath things. Nice location and friendly wonderful night staff and they had a crib for my 1 year old which was a blessing.
