The location is great! The view from the room/balcony is amazing. The view from the provided continental breakfast area is spectacular (inside or outside). The golf cart rental is so convenient (there are also bikes). The spacious room and bathroom were very clean and the entire Inn and property are well kept. The luggage elevator is nice and the staff was very helpful. The ample parking was close to the rooms and easily accessible. Overall great 3 days and 2 nights.

Wish it had a pool. Everything else was very good.

This is a great place for the price. Its price is exhorbitant, but less exhorbitant than any other place I could find in this last-minute booking on Ocracoke. I expecially liked the big chairs facing the harbor. If it weren't so hot and humid during that heat wave (the very reason I headed to OBX was to escape the heat wave on the east coast), i might have enjoyed it more. But it was fine, given the weather. The basic breakfast was ok. The room was cool since AC worked - thank goodness. The staff was GREAT, from reception to cleaning folks.

Couldn't you make it less humid in 90 degree heat outside?

Great location right across from the water and a room with a view. Maryjane greeted us and made us feel very welcome. Very clean and well-maintained room. Comfortable beds. The continental breakfast was satisfying and in a room looking out over the water. The owner and rest of the staff were great and as helpful as could be as our plans kept changing, due to the weather and ferry runs being cancelled.

The weather was cold and showery. The road to the Hatteras ferry was closed. The ferries weren't running on schedule. Of course, all of this was outside the control of the Inn.

Easy access to breakfast. Very plain but it's nice to have something so close.

We had multiple issues with the air conditioner. It was miserable for 2 days and multiple complaints. We were offered a fan & it was still unbearable. The owner replaced the air conditioner the following day. It was much better compared to the beginning situation but definitely was not happy about paying the same price while sweating in our room and my daughter threw up from being so hot.

The location was perfect! Staff was not only accommodating, but down to a person, provided excellent service!!! We could not have been happier, nor more impressed with the management & staff of Ocracoke Harbor Inn.

A stove top and small dishwasher would make the stay so much more accommodating. Also, an overhead fan on the balcony would be a great addition, especially with an eastern breeze.

The breakfast was perfect. I do not eat much for breakfast, so having a bagel with cream cheese was just what I needed. Also, I loved, loved, loved, the view from my room and deck! Such a cozy place to stay. If I ever travel back to Ocracoke, I'll stay at the Ocracoke Harbor Inn again since my family no longer owns a house on the island.

There was nothing that I didn't like. Except for my choice to only stay two nights, lol.

We loved this place. Suite 302 is awesome! Over looks the harbor. Just amazing! They keep the grounds looking beautiful! I highly recommend staying here. Ocracoke is a fun island. My wife & son went parasailing and loved it. Beach was awesome. And eating at Howard's is a "must". Just remember to hit the ferryboat EARLY and be ready for some Island fun!

Very clean, staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the island. Beautiful views, restaurants and shops in biking or golf cart distance. Some are a bit of a hike to walk if challenged in walking distances

If your looking for a beach trip it does require driving and walking to get to the ocean front. If you have a 4x4 you can purchase a pass to drive on the beach but it's a bit pricy unless you plan on using it alot

We liked the view and enjoyed the sunrise. We got there by ferry from Cedar Island and it was only a short ride to the hotel. If possible take the afternoon ferry from Cedar Island. The Sunset is outstanding. Parking was easy although the hotel was fully booked. The only thing we have to complain is the breakfast. It´s a normal US hotel breakfast with a lot of plastic. That was what we expect, so not really surprising. But the view to the harbour let us forget ist.

We stayed in the apartment in the back. It was nice to have our area, not sharing walls with others. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

We was told there was a view of the Harbor but actually there wasn't. There was tree blocking the view. The mattress seemed a little too hard for my comfort, but it was still nice place.
