Hampton Inn Statesville

The location was excellent. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time in the morning for breakfast.

I know we had a pet in the room, who would not have been particularly friendly has we requested housekeeping, and basically, we just needed a lot of towels and trash removal. It would have been nice to schedule a time after 10:00AM that we could hsve arranged for regular housekeeping.

Ron Moore at the front desk early in the morning, was super nice and helpful. In the morning, I went down to the front desk to ask about a hair dryer, he was surprised that there was not one in our room. He apologized and told me that he would get one for me. A few minutes later he brought a brand new one down to our room. The coffee was very good. The room was very quiet, and the bed was very comfortable.

The back door we used because it was close to our room had a sketchy feel to it. There were beer bottles in the ash tray, which was overflowing. The grass had not been cut. If I had been by myself I would not have been comfortable using it. Our room only had 2 bath towels, had no hair dryer, one roll of very pitiful toilet paper, no real dresser for our clothes, all of the usual toiletries were not there. When I called the front desk to ask about the hair dryer the attendant told me that although she was new, she was sure that rooms didn't include a hair dryer, and didn't even ask someone else. For what we paid for the room, I expected a lot more.

Wonderful stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely stay here again. Location is great. Near the interstate, but far enough away to be quiet and lots of food and shopping nearby.

The breakfast was typical motel fare, almost exactly the same thing available everywhere. Not a negative. The room was clean and attractively furnished. The room darkening blind was great!

There was some road noise but that is expected when close to interstate Highway. The Avian water with a five dollar tag. Come on.

pet Friendly hotel. convenient to Highway and to food near by. breakfast included.

$75 more for pet. I understand a deposit that is refundable is nothing is found wrong but not $75 extra for the animal.

The hotel and our room was very clean. The Breakfast was excellent, service with a smile in the breakfast room. Good food too.

Just a suggestion, A nightstand on both sides of the bed is helpful when you /and your spouse wear glasses and need them as soon as you get up in the morning.

We only stayed overnight for a business trip, our room was vlean and comfy. The staff was excellent and accomadated all our needs. Coffeee in the lobby was GREAT!!!!! We will stay again. Thanks

Everything was great. Staff to when we walked in. Friendly and very customer focused. To the room was super nice. The smell of the hall to the wonderful breakfast with a lot of options. The best I have stayed. When walking out the lady asked how it was. Just amazing
