Baymont by Wyndham Youngstown

Front desk “Ceely” was so kind and accommodating to our large family. It appears they are renovating, and it will be very nice. We had renovated rooms, everything was comfortable and very clean. I’m super picky, so it was spotless. Breakfast was slim pickings, but they appeared to have three busses full of very large teams, so maybe we went down at the wrong time. We were hauling a large boat, had plenty of room to park.

First,I was slightly hesitant about this hotel based on some reviews. However,this hotel was actually quite nice for a great price! Definitely an older hotel but it was clean,staff was quick to help,restock our towels,pillows etc. Every staff member was so polite. Pool was great,area was clean,pool was clean and clean towels were always stocked. Our kids had a blast! Definitely kid friendly! And the best hidden gem was the Hotel restaurant!!!! Seriously,best authentic Mexican food ever!! Casa Ramirez has the best rice and their fajitas were phenomenal ❤️😁 Staff was quick and super nice! Do yourself a favor and go! Even if it's just for their fresh guacamole and tasty margaritas! All in all it was a very comfy,decent hotel if your looking for a good price😊😊😊😊

Could use some updates but nothing major

The room was great. The staff was extremely helpful. The location was rundown. The parking lot was not lit well and it was a little scary walking to the front entrance with a large number (10+) of young men in their twenties smoking by the entrance..

Nervous walking from the car into the building with a large group of men hanging around the entrance and smell of cigarettes and pot in the air.

Nice and quiet, amazing breakfast choices, close to the concert venue.

Check in on the site was 3pm, we got to the hotel about 3:30 to find that check in is at 4. Room wasn’t ready so they offered us a smoking room which we don’t smoke. Told them I want a non smoking room. Luckily, she told us they’d clean one right away so we went to eat to wait.

Breakfast was good and attended to, and over looked the pool. I loved the layout of the hotel inside but there wasn't adequate parking and that area of town is in the hoodlum side.

Broken vending machines and ice makers, had to go down or up a floor to get ice. Opened the pool too late and closed it too early.

A great size room for the price. The people at the desk were nice.

The door between my room and someone else's room. The wifi didn't work. Outside by the pool, there was broken glass that wasn't cleaned up.

They allowed early check in, room was really clean. In great location to everything highway and all restaurants

The elevator could have been clean carpet on the floor in the elevator not clean but the rest of the facility was clean.

I couldn't find anything about this Baymont by Windham that I didn't like. Front staff was exceptional. I have COPD and when I had a hard time walking the distance to my room, they got a wheelchair and took me. I was a little embarrassed that I needed the help, but was very appreciative that they were willing to go out of their way and give it.

Friendly, helpful staff and immaculate room. Ideal location for my purposes.

Internet access in my "dead zone" room and an overly soft mattress that seems all too typical for commercial accommodations these days. (I prefer firm -- admittedly a personal quirk.)

I liked the room size

There was no hot water. It was barely Luke warm. Maintenance came up to fix the problem. But didn't. The sink faucet barely had water coming out of it. He took it apart. Said it needs apart and never came back.checked out without taking my normal hot shower in the morning
