Americas Best Value Inn - Pendleton

staff was great. it was quiet for the most part. in the middle of the night i did wake to the neighbors doing "adult things" very loudly lol. the walls were a little thin. and it would be nice if the pool opened earlier and not wait until June.

pool was closed and it was in the high 80's and 90's. the coffee was a little weak. um...when yall were really full the maids didnt come by to give us clean towels one day. the day before the maid came in with clean towels but didnt make the beds. these are stupid little things but this form is encouraging me to write more, so...

Walking distance to everything downtown.

We were in town for Pendleton Whiskey Music Fest, this hotel was close to everywhere we needed to go so we were able to walk. The front desk staff was very friendly.

Parking was very tight, toilet was broken so if you didn't wiggle the handle it would run all night long. Otherwise great experience. We already booked for next year!

Breakfast was very pleasant, with a great variety of options for a hot sit down meal or a fast breakfast on the go. The staff was excellent and extremely nice. The location was pretty good as well.

A couple things are very outdated like the tub in our room. The parking situation was pretty tight but not much they could do to change that. overall not much to complain about.

Clean, comfortable bed, excellent breakfast. The staff was great and friendly from the front desk to the house keepers.

Breakfast area was really small. They could easily put in 2 small tables by the door. These could be removed after breakfast was done.

it was a great location to great food. we were able to walk from there to many great food choices.

I wish they had a key drop. the office is closed until 6:30. we were leaving at 6:10 and everything was locked. I called the phone number on the door and was told to leave the keys on the ground outside the door. I asked to put them in the mail box but it was uncomfortable to leave that way.

We were greeted warmly by the receptionist. Breakfast was available in the small lobby and had all the usual foods most motels/hotels offer as part of the stay. Our room was comfortable and we slept well.

The breakfast food area was small but there was an option of taking food back to the room. That said, we stayed because there were few people in the area when we ate, so felt safe from covid transmission.

This was what one would expect of a modest hotel. Beds were clean and comfortable. I liked the fact that there was a table with chairs. Reasonable refrigerator.

The electrical connections are unsafe. Too many things plugged into a spaghetti arrangement of cords. Using a second power strip tacked to the credenza would be safer and not so unsightly. It took numerous times of running the microwave until it tripped the power strip (about every 10 - 15 seconds) to heat up an item that should have taken only 60 seconds.

Just about everything. Friendly staff and the dog was welcome for $16. Nice breakfast but no gluten free options besides cheerios and yogurt. But that’s pretty normal outside of cities.

All the little bottles of shampoo instead of shampoo and soap in a dispenser.

The 2 bedroom suite with bunk beds was a great option well priced and great layout suited for family of 5. For the price as an overnight it was fantastic value. Receptionist and owner family were wonderful and very courteous. Decent food nearby for small town!

Carpets could use a steam clean but not terrible.
