SpringHill Suites by Marriott Pittsburgh Butler/Centre City

Location was okay. Was very close to the places we needed to go to while staying at the hotel for the States bowling tournament.

The breakfast was less than to be desired. We actually ended up going out to eat because the options were very limited. Was not a full breakfast like we are used to at hotels. Only other complaint was that there were families there in the lobby area letting their kids throw a football around everywhere and they were extremely loud.

I am immune compromised and had some special requests around COVID. Even in July of 2022, when much of the country has moved on, the staff was respectful and accommodating of my requests. Greatly appreciated.

The staff was wonderful! Facilities clean! Our Room was beautiful and all my questions and needs were fulfilled. The beds were wonderful, I typically can't sleep on hotel beds. The kids and my fiance loved the room too! The trundle was comfortable too! Kids loved the charging station at the desk.

I didn't like the lighting in the room or storage. It had two little dresser drawers ( We had 2 adults, 2 kids and a baby.) Also only one area for clothes coats, and stuff. It was a good size closet, but lighting again was horrible and everyone would have had to walk to the end of the room and back to get to the closet. And it was a motion light. I couldn't activate it most of the time. Also wish they had bigger trash cans. With covid they don't come in, and we had no choice but to keep putting trash in the recycling and the bathroom. 2 small trash cans for a queen suite.

Everything about this hotel was absolutely Wonderful. The room was awesome and extremely clean. Was within walking distance from everything we wanted to do. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice well supplied breakfast. We’ll stay here every time we’re in Butler.

Nothing it was Perfect!

The staff did everything in their power to make my family comfortable. My son had dental surgery, the provided him with ice cream on demand as well as a late checkout to get him comfortable. He even was able to float in the pool for a few which is all he cared about! Thank you for being so great!

The hotel was convenient and very nice.

That it ended up costing more than planned. Asked if parking was included when we checked in and they said yes. Was charged additional amount and taxes for parking.

limited towel bars to hang damp towels on, no door to separate toilet from rest of the bathroom

Newly updated, large spacious suite. The value was great for the length of our stay! Breakfast was great even during COVID. Pool looked small, but saw people enjoying it! Parking garage right next to property made it convenient. $10 a night to park in secured location was great.

The hotel is very new and the rooms are very nice.

Our queen suite was kind of small for 4 people. The trundle bed was very uncomfortable.

The hotel is in great walking distance to restaurants and shops, and the room was very spacious.

We did not see very many staff members around for assistance, and the hand sanitizer dispensers were empty.
