No breakfast but they did offer a coupon to use in town which we didn't utilize but we did use one provided for use for a free drink at a local restaurant for dinner. Wish we had a cabin at the back with the better view, but not available, but by far, after recalling a two-week trip, this was my favorite and most comfortable spot. The long table with shelf below afforded us space to stash our gear and use as a table for our breakfast provisions we had brought. And they EVEN had hooks by the door which is helpful for jackets. Gal checking us in was welcoming and super friendly. Location is not far from the entrance to the Badlands National Park. A PLUS!

Not the best view of the highway and cemetery across the street as we sat outside, but could at least watch cars go by. Would have liked to have had one of the cabins facing the field in the back which might have been quieter, but we never really noticed traffic noise and air conditioner worked perfect.

We loved this little cabin! The interior was so cozy, the beds so comfortable, and I almost wanted to steal one of their pillows! For breakfast, they gave us vouchers and sent us into the tiny town of Wall where we had the most amazing French toast ever!

Can't say that we didn't like it, but the beds are enormously high, and it needs some climbing skill to get in. Once you were in however you never wanted to get out again! The place was rather close to the highway. I had expected something more remote where you can see the stars at night.

We made our breakfast two out of the three mornings we were there, how could you possibly pass up making breakfast while looking out on the prairie with the door open and hearing the birds cheer you on! We used the coupon for the free breakfast in town on the one rainy day we had there. It took almost 40 min to get the food, biscuits and gravy, it was good - we enjoyed it but the place wasn’t even that crowded so we decided to just make our own breakfast the next 2 days of our stay….skip the unnecessary sitting around….have more fun. 🙂 The people in the office were excellent, friendly, helpful, and fun. The beds were so comfortable, we both fell asleep immediately upon landing in them. The location was excellent, just down the road, less than 6 miles from Badlands National Park and tons and tons of bison roaming around just waiting to have their picture taken are outside the entrance and around the area. Prairie dogs, gorgeous sunsets, and the friendliest people that I have ever come across in the United States are in South Dakota! Definitely going back!

Stocking a little more coffee in the room would’ve been better, but no complaints because if you get down to the office, they will give you more. 🙂. There was nothing negative about my stay at Badlands frontier cabins.

The cabin was clean, cozy, and spacious after hours on the road. At check-in we received an unexpected coupon for free breakfast in town (which was good), another for a free drink, and a third for a discount at a local store. Also, the toiletries in the cabin were all Dove! I don't know why hotels always have weird toiletries with weirder smells that often leave you feeling dried out and gross, but Badlands Frontier Cabins had Dove. I never realized what a relief it is to have access to toiletries I know and trust to leave me clean, comfortable, and nice-smelling until I saw that little basket! Such a small thing, but it made a huge impression on me and added a sense of quality. Sure, normal hotel toiletry weirdness claims to be "luxury," but it usually feels like cheap crap once applied. Not Dove, though!

Each cabin was clean and the beds were comfortable. The location was convenient to the Badlands - we even set our alarms for a 1:30am wakeup and were able to drive into a full dark sky Badlands for stargazing just ~10 minutes from the cabin front door!

When we booked, the photos and room description included a full kitchen and small dining area in our cabin. We had to shorten our stay by 1 day, and somehow this changed our booking to a cabin with no kitchen. (We had purchased groceries and planned to prepare a few meals before we checked in and realized we no longer had a kitchen). The room price was still the original price per night, even though we now had no kitchen. I felt like I had been cheated in a bait and switch from this experience. The cabins also use LOTS of water softener salts, so you feel like you can't rinse off soaps and shampoos, and still feel "slick" after showering. Overall, there are very few lodging options near the Badlands and I would still choose these cabins over other hotel accommodations.

We really fell in love with our cabin, as it was a new experience for us and it was very cozy, clean and spacious. The cabin's interior had a high attention to detail with the biggest bed I have ever seen and the soap in the bathroom being Dove branded. The staff was very nice and helpful, making us feel welcome right away. Parking is right next to the cabin. Located just south of the town of Wall it is a perfect stay to get into the National Park without being far from the town amenities. We were pleasantly surprised that we got a free breakfast at a decent restaurant in downtown Wall which offered great French Toast and very good coffee. We didn't try the pancakes, but they looked good as well.

Nothing to complain about.

what a nice surprise to find these cabins so close to Badlands national park. Now that I’ve stayed there I would go out of my way to do so again. Melanie at the front desk was super helpful. The cabin was nicely equipped with quality, bedding, and towels. It was quiet. The sunset was beautiful. The town is very quaint. The Badlands restaurant Melanie recommended was fabulous and the service was excellent. You don’t need to look any further than these little cabins for a one night stay or more.

There’s nothing I didn’t like about this property. Everything was superior.

The log homes are so cute and comfy. The bed , what can I say” It was like sleeping on a cloud. The first night we had a cabin that faced East so we got morning sun. No sunset but the personnel were more than happy to switch us the next day to one facing west. It was so peaceful and beautiful. I haven’t felt as good as I did that afternoon standing there looking out at the beautiful sky and a breeze blowing . Fresh air! Gosh I already want to go back. Each cabin has it’s own little porch to sit on. Barbecue grills. It’s just awesome. Don’t hesitate about staying there. You will fall in love with it too. plus it’s only a few blocks to Wall Drugs.

As others have said the water pressure was not real strong but we did just fine. Not a lot of lightning in bathroom area. But that would never stop me from going there.

This was very easy to get to. Each cabin has it's own parking spot. It was close to The Badlands. The outside of the cabins were so beautiful when we arrived. The inside was even better than the photos look like. The beds were very comfortable. There is a fantastic playground for children. Outside of our room there are some chairs to sit in. There is a picnic table and outside grill for each cabin. This really is almost perfect!! If you are looking for a place while you are visiting the badlands, look no further!

The only improvement would be bigger cabins. I am not sure if they are all the same size, I never thought to ask. I would not let this stop me in any way. So..is it really a negative?

Friendly staff. They texted a few hours before check-in to touch base. The first cabin wasn't fully cleaned so they upgraded us to a larger cabin. The cabin was charming and clean. We slept well. Upon check-in, they gave us a coupon for free drinks for dinner and free breakfast at the Badlands Saloon. We used and enjoyed both.

We have an electric car and couldn't find an exterior outlet to charge overnight (a minor inconvenience, not really a problem).
