I loved the restroom.. being able to soak in such a big bathtub early morning made up for the horrible loud music and rest I didn't get.

I didn't like loud music from my neighbor... I can understand people go there to have a great time but this loudness of music was way above and beyond I couldn't even hear my TV I called the front desk but it continued till about 10:30 at night close to 11.. and let me remind you that I had to be up by 5:00 a.m to be out of there by 6:30 to be at work...then the bed was sitting on the floor..not comfortable... My husband kept jamming his toes on the metal bar that were just sitting on the floor.. all I could think was thank you Jesus at least I wasn't sleeping outside that's what helped me get it through the night

I live in Austin and rented this room for a hookup with this chick I met online. I've been seeing the castle on the hill for years and when I was looking to book a room there it was, on booking.com. I booked the room. I then drove there with my ex and we checked it out and I was kinda hesitant about it because there was construction going on and there were beer bottles by the rear exit door. Cheap beer. I tried to fond another place but whoah they were expensive so I kept the Casulo booking, expecting it to suck. It did NOT suck. It was awesome. The owner actually works and the staff are really cool. The room was big. The BATHTUB was huge which is good for me being over 6'3". We BOTH fit in that giant tub. Wow. :-). I would say that the Casulo is now my preferred hotel in Austin.

Free beer?

It’s definitely an older property but it’s still kept up well. I was looking for something very budget friendly and was pleasantly surprised with what I got.

The building looks old and in need of some minor repairs but it looked like they had some construction going on outside so these things may be taken care of in the near future.

Very cozy , Mitchell was very nice and helpful , patient and very outstanding for the job I think she deserves a rise (:!

Miscommunication from morning shift change staff . Very unprofessional.

Location and everything was fine the only thing that was kind of a not what we expected was they had absolutely no continental breakfast like they said they had we were told that the person who was supposed to buy things for that never showed up

My suite was exceptional. The staff was absolutely fantastic, super accommodating. The hotel itself was unique and quirky. If I'm ever in Austin again it's where I'll be staying!

I would've liked more amenities, like maybe a gift shop or a cafe.

The check in clerk was amazing and gave us extra towels

Finding the hotel was a little difficult but it wasn't too awful; we just had to remember coming back to the hotel to drive a little slower because it creeps up on you; the sign is a little small

The swimming pool felt so good and the room set up wa set up was fantastic!! loved how cool the room temperature got.

The outside needing attention as far as the grass being cut and breakfast was nothing but cereal and toast

I was quoted a price through you for 124 with tax. I paid 154. Not sure what went wrong but I base my stay location on value. I wouldn't have paid 154. Is this a pattern of deception?
