The staff is very friendly. The staircase and outdoor hallway is very well lit. The room was spacious. The room has recently been remodeled. The tv and lamps all worked great.

The restroom door needed a fresh coat of paint. The restroom should have a soap holder.

After reading the negative comments, I'd like to mention that you can not expect a 5 star hotel quality for such a low price.The room was clean. The bed was made, and the towels were changed on a daily basis. I had no problems with plumbing.

The loud next-door people. I specifically asked for a quiet room. The hotel was quite empty. However, the loud neighbors were just next door with kids throwing their toys at my door, running and screaming like there is no tomorrow. Thankfully, it was only for the last 2 nights. Not sure why the hotel didn't accommodate such a simple request considering that there were plenty of empty suits.

It is very peaceful here and also the staff are amazing people. The rooms are clean and everything is stocked properly. The beds are comfy and the rooms are pretty roomy so that's a plus.

Just the traffic that can be heard from the highway other than that everything is great here.

Very new and improved Scottish in were the staff is attentive and the rooms are to remember.

I didnt like that vacation was over till next month. The new Scottish in is our home away from home were the night never ends and the fun aways begins!!

The bed was mega comfortable, were the burns in the comforter, yes, but we brought our own blankets and it was the most comfortable hotel bed i’ve ever slept on! all lamps and facilities worked shower head was new location is kinda sketch but worth it to be near downtown austin for such a cheap price no homeless or scary characters milling about, and we were there ACL weekend one, very quiet

saw a couple bugs but they were more like outside bugs that got in through the crack in the door, no roaches, no bed bugs the cars ripping up and down the highway can be heard all night long no one to check us out, but check in was speedy not the ritz but for two broke college kids it worked out just fine if you’re prepared to slum it!
