La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Fort Stockton Northeast

Comfortable beds, clean and newer hotel. For Fort Stockton probably the best hotel. Given it's a pet friendly hotel, thank goodness they don't have carpet in the rooms. (Although in the hall way they do and you can see stains of pets vomit or who knows what... up against the wall is from an animal...just saying). Would stay again though.

Breakfast was meh. Eggs were bland, they were out of everything else. Moody lady who couldn't keep up with it all. No more rolls, no more yoghurt, etc. I just wish they would have a floor with no pets, so gross to have all the animals allowed everywhere nowadays. No consideration for pet allergies etc.

Assigned a room on top floor in a quiet zone of the hotel as I had requested. The room was very clean and comfortable including bed w/plenty of pillows. Good Wi Fi. Very attractive lobby. The room included an updated mini refrigerator with separate doors for freezer and for food. Wide parking spaces. Good breakfast but would like to have had some potatoes included in buffet line. Good restaurants in the area and a super WalMart was close by. Very impressive property.

The parking lot was loaded with termites and/or large carpenter ants. Shower pressure was weak. Bathroom lighting dim. Would prefer bars of soap in the bathroom rather than dispensers.

Very nice rooms, lovely in-room amenities with a kitchenette and comfortable beds. The breakfast spread was nice. Everything seemed very clean and functional. Location was convenient and it was quiet.

Water pressure in shower left something to be desired. I don't like when breakfast is served until 9 and they stop refilling things after 8:30. I feel like they should say something at check-in along the lines of, "but we stop cooking for breakfast at 8" because when I come down within breakfast hours and they're out of eggs, pancake batter, etc, it annoys me. I asked and they said no they're done. (And I'm not talking about showing up at 8:59 either.)

This hotel is fairly new and has clean and spacious rooms. This was my second time staying here and my dog and I had a lovely stay apart from the cleaning staff leaving their mop bucket and trash can right in front of my hotel room door and not moving it for me; even after I asked her. She just expected me to move it even though I had my luggage in one hand and my dog's leash in the other.

This hotel is pristine in its cleanliness, the decor is beautiful, and the facilities watched by staff throughout the day. Best I-10 stay in decades. The breakfast was delicious. Thank you for not having televisions blaring while we enjoy our food.

The outdoor fenced pet area could use a shade to keep the stones from heating up in the hot sun since there's no grass. It is too hot to sit on the chairs during summer months, and the dogs will burn their feet.

The aesthetics were awesome, felt welcoming and very friendly staff and they work hard to fulfill my accommodations. The room was nice hot showers, low surrounding noises and the A/C didn't make the room smelly or humid. I even felt safe leaving stuff in my car without the thought or fear of someone braking in. I would certainly stay there again if I had to go back to Texas.

I don't know if its standard that the breakfast ends a certain time. We slept in and missed it. Suggestion if they can extend the hours or just have extended foods like bagels or fruit. If for some reason the hot foods have to be put away. other then that this hotel is awesome.

The hotel needs to provide better directions on reaching the hotel via the interstate online and stay confirmation. I called the hotel to ask for exit number and employee could not tell me. Also, called a second time for directions when our gps took us to the wrong hotel, and the same employee could not tell me where they were located. Had to stop at a gas station where an employee told us where the hotel was. Employee at registration desk looked as though he had slept in his clothes. Not a welcoming site.

Easy to locate, this La Quinta seems like it was recently built. Everything was very clean and modern. Front desk staff was wonderful! Decent complimentary breakfast at 6am, eggs, sausage, biscuits, bagels, cereal.

Can be a bit noisy at times. When someone’s talking in the hallway it seems that they’re right next door or in your room. Other than a couple obnoxious and inconsiderate guests, this hotel was wonderful.

Wee bit difficult to find entrance off frontage road. Told breakfast was 6AM to 9PM. Arrived at 6AM, along with about 10 others, 6:10AM no breakfast, and an employee working on the breakfast food said breakfast was ar 7AM. We had 700 miles to drive so packed up and left at 6:35AM. As we drove past the windows of dinning area saw folks were beginning to ear breakfast. We left hungry and disappointed.

The breakfast was surprisingly fabulous! The scrambled eggs, sausage patties, and biscuits were delicious and a fabulous touch! The scrambled eggs were fluffy and had a real good flavor, the sausage patties were largely round and thin, and the biscuits were soft and not dry. The location was easy to get to right off of I 10.

I am not sure that I was charged correctly for our pets on our night of Dec 20. We had two small dogs and were charged $20 per dog. The La Quinta in Tuscon only charged us $20 for both dogs. I have not reviewed my La Quinta Fort Stockton bill for the night of Dec 28 to see what we were charged.
