La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Midland

The breakfast was not good. Please, read the next section. Beds were very comfortable.. Easy to get to the room. Rooms were clean. The AC worked good. The staff were very nice.

The breakfast was not up to par. Some of this was because of other travelers but some was just items were just not present. The waffle maker had burned or wet mix all over it (travelers). No fruit (one traveler had 5 oranges at the edge of his plate). No eggs, no meat, no hashbrowns, no coffee, no yogurt, one apple and it was bruised badly, no juice, and no milk. We were really hoping for a breakfast because we had a funeral to go to and wouldn't be eating until around 1:00 PM. I am 83 and needed to eat to take my pills. We had to stop at McDonald's on the way to the funeral and grab something. The other thing was some of the lights didn't work. We had to use the flashlight on my phone to find items in our suitcases.

The breakfast was sufficient and welcome. The location was good, but the exit off of I-20 West was blocked (not the fault of the hotel). The parking was very convenient. The room was cleaned well. The evening and morning managers were very approachable and professional.

We made the reservation for two (2) adults and two (2) children, but there were only two (2) bath towels for the four (4) people. This was a "Mobility Access" room but the space between the dresser and the ends of the beds was very narrow for an individual with mobility problems. Access to the bathroom sink was also limited for individuals with mobility problems due to the depth of the sink counter.

I really like the price and the fact that the lobby area was very clean and welcoming and the food was good except for the fact that we didn't get waffles because the waffle maker was broken

I didn't like the way it looked with the door towards the outside I just feel a little bit more secure when the doors are on the inside, of course that's something that you can't change

It is an older motel. Very clean. My stay was less than $60. I think it was probably one of the least expensive la Quinta's I've stayed in. I think it was due to the breakfast, their idea of hot breakfast was Pop-Tarts and instant oatmeal. But at least they had hot coffee and tea that you didn't have to make in your room. For those not used to trains they might not like the fact that there was a train track close by and you could definitely hear the trains go by in the middle of the night. Would stay there again.

Nice location, not far away from downtown Midland, easy access to restaurants, businesses and the Horseshoe Arena. WiFi worked perfectly, I had some work to do, and it was all easily carried out with the high speed connection.

I have stayed in this hotel before, and I liked it. It's simple and I had no surprises in previous visits. However, this last time the sink in the bathroom was clogged all the time. I mean not slow flow, simply clogged. We didn't report it, because we had a lot of luggage and quite a lot to organize in our bags before taking a flight (we were in the middle of a road trip all the way to Dallas), and we feared we would be moved to a room in the upper room (no elevator), and that we would have to carry the bags all over the stairway, so we decided to stay in the room with that nasty inconvenience. Apart from that, the rest was nice, as always. The swimming pool was empty, but it was so windy and dusty that I didn't miss it at all.

It was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The bed I slept on was very hard and made my back hurt, Sadly because of my back I probably won't stay there again unless there are better beds for me.

You need more trash cans.

Convenient location at the I-20 Business Frontage Road, microwave and tiny fridge in the room, a somehow soft mattress but not really bad, fantastic blackout curtains, the room is spacious, bedding and towels in pristine conditions.

The bathroom sink was clogged all the time, if you leave the door open the rug gets dusty (Midland is pretty windy), swimming pool out of order and some other customers (a large family splat up in several rooms) dined and listened to loud music in the parking area.

The front staff was courteous and professional with smiles.

I like the room and being pet friendly, I do believe they enjoyed the it more than I did..

The door was a little tricky to open it jammed a few times the light to the vanity in the bathroom didn't work the phone didn't work minor things all in all not bad

I am the owner of a business and when I call to book for employees the front desk so easy and helpful!! I call a ton of hotels and this one is by far the easiest to deal with!
